In-app purchase
software not modern, hard to use. Some of the information need to pay
Just so bad
If you want to enjoy your time at the Louvre, don’t download this app. It’s buggy galore. Then it tries to upsell you consistently. Total garbage.
Good idea but not up to date or complete
Bought the app as we couldn't get official audio guides as there were none available. App is good enough if you can't get a guide but it is far from a complete guide, many rooms we entered had no content available, or just one or two items on the app for a room with many interesting items. Also some items aren't listed in the correct room so not sure when it was last updated.

Worked until it didn’t
Worked alright with some minor inaccuracies until everything stopped loading. Wasn’t my internet as everything else on my phone was alright.
Inaccurate rooms
This app did not work when I first down loaded it. I had to upgrade right away at the another 4.99. It was also very immaculate as to where the pieces were in the Louvre. It also had very few pieces listed per room. Not worth the 4.99x 2 and the frustration.
Louvre map
The Louvre is massive so we got this app since it has an interactive map and audio. Worked good for our needs
Byzantine user interface
You can tell some work went into this app, there’s a lot of content and apparently some features, but the UI makes it impossible to use.
There’s no consistent menu structure, for example there’s no way to do a search except from one location I found once and never again.
If you are lucky enough to find the search feature once, and add some favorites, you will never see that list of favorites from anywhere. Searching and viewing favorites are two functions that should always be available at all times in the app.
These are easy problems to solve. If the developer just gave this app to a few people who have never seen it before and watch then fumble to get anything useful out of it they could probably figure out how to resolve the problems. For now this app is useless.

Made My Visit Much Better
I bought this IAP for $5 before going to the Louvre and it greatly enhanced my visit.
I couldn’t figure out why the official louvre app raved about in the NY Times in 2016 is gone. Why do I have to get this third party one without enough reviews to even see a rating? Because the museum went with Nintendo 3DS audio tours and so removed their app. I did the 3DS one with its 90 min guided tour. It was fine but kinda confusing.
THIS app I felt was better. I like how it has 1, 3, and 5hr tour versions. I did the 5 and just skipped the ones I already did with the 3DS.
I liked the write ups and the variety. I read them outloud to my daughter because the museum was too loud for Narration and many we’re missing.
Things I didn’t like:
- no way to go to a previous stop, sometimes just to get my bearings
- some of the artifacts were moved or not on display. I don’t know how often the app is updated but the first item on the tour isn’t on display and we spent 15 min and talked to 2 security guards before discovering that is the issue
- not all exhibits are narrated, only about 20% of the 5hr which is why I just gave up and read them all out loud

Only very few items come with an audio clip
I upgraded to the full version and realized that not every art piece on the “audio” tab came with an audio clip. This is a false advertisement because I thought the full version should have all the audio clips. That totally ruined my Louvre experience because I had to read the description first and came back to look at the actual art works, which doubled the amount of time. And Louvre is always crowded, so it is hard standing there reading in the crowd, too.
The information is good. It might be a fun app to explore for virtual tour at home. However, it’s definitely not an ideal guide to explore the museum.

Lots to see
Love the idea of browsing at leisure than having to rush
Nice interface
Easy tours and good audio
Great app!
Many masterpieces are there, comments are great. I had a great a great time in Louvre with this app! Recommended!
Nothins where it should be (except Mona Lisa)
App is not up to date, pictures are not hanging where they should be l, according to the app. Therefore 3,49 is very poor…shame on you louvre!
Not updated
If you want to use this App to tour the Louvre, expect for it to not be updated and contain outdated information about which wings are open and the location of important works of art.
Bad
Wish I could leave a 0 star review
Useless
The Louvre is massive and confusing at best. We did the suggested 4 hr tour and this app had us walking all over, up and down levels and back and forth between the wings. There were no directions how to get between the various places so we got lost several times. Probably best to do a guided tour next time.

Just spent 8 hours using this.
Overall good - however it doesn’t go in order and has you crisscrossing back and forth through some of the most high traffic areas in the museum. The audio is very 80s robotic sounding - much better to just read the summaries on the app.
Good search feature but no route / mapping - it only shows the location on the map. Many exhibits / halls closed - would be good if it had updated reports on what was closed / under restoration.

Сеяли больше денег
В приложении маршрут стоил 299 рублей, а с карты сняли 428. Неприятно
Not the official app. Don't be fooled
I bought this app thinking it was the official app, which looks exactly the same, but it's not. Don't be fooled like me, buy the official Louvre app, same price.
Not User Friendly
Most of the functions of the "upgraded" paid app are useless. The "search" function is a joke, and the you can only access audio clips with a number (and where you find that number is unknown to me).
I upgraded to the paid version because the free version is bad. But the paid version doesn't seem any better.
The Louvre is one of the most popular attractions in the world and this app is promoted here. But I notice there are no reviews. I guess they are waiting for a good one.
