IOS Freezes
This app does not allow to listen to the Audiobooks without downloading first. I have attempted to download a book to listen to several times and it freezes the app requiring me to delete app reinstall and try again. Unfortunately, I’m defining insanity with this app platform.
Loving it so far but..
It is tough to imagine an app for iPad that cannot switch between portrait and landscape. This is a really strange limit. Developers, please add my vote for prioritizing this feature. Write this in Swift UI so it can easily reconfigure the view.
So Slow
The site is slow, the app is slow - the overall company gives lack of convenience and product efficiency to its consumers. This app is no different. If I wasn’t given a gift card to use by an unknowing friend, I’d step away and never use this company again. There are much better audiobook platforms available.

There are no title tracks or you can’t find the short stories you are looking for. Should be zero stars
Buggy Playback
The biggest issue with this app is the poor playback interface. If you have just started a new chapter, say 5 seconds in: if you rewind, say, 10 seconds, during playback, you would hope that the audio skips back 10 seconds and puts you 5 seconds before the current chapter. But instead, it puts you back to the START of the previous chapter! Extremely annoying. This is a basic edge case that should have been tested for and solved in any half decent media playback software.

Terrible service
I just wanted to purchase one book I paid the price. I read the invoice and then the next month I get hit with a monthly fee. They said a subscription. It was false marketing because I never agreed to pay for a sub subscription. I just wanted to purchase that one book that I wanted and when I reached out, they said there’s no refund I do not recommend them. If I had known a subscription, I would’ve joined Audible much better.

Australian buyers Beware
My husband purchased a $150 USD ($235 AUD) gift voucher for my birthday which I was pretty excited about. Unfortunately because I am Australian, not one book I have been interested in so far is licensed for me to listen to in Australia. So disappointing. I have asked on a number of occasions to have the gift voucher recredited but was told that because I had ‘redeemed’ the voucher they wouldn’t return the money. What is the point of selling gift vouchers to countries where the volume of books is so limited? Have not spent any of the credit, such a waste of money. There should be a warning on the website for overseas customers, or at least a list of books that are available instead of finding one, getting to the cart and seeing the notice that it is not available. Just so frustrating! No issues with other audiobook Apps. Buyer beware.

be careful with your money here
I’ve bought three books here some time ago, and landed with unwanted subscription service. No payment confirmation, no info about subscription, just silent charge every months (for more than a year). Discovered recently, asked for refund, as not used this subscription, and even was not aware of it. They laugh at my face. Probably legally they are right…
Now I see I’m not alone.
Be careful while buying something from them. They may cheat you!

Scam
It took away access to my book, it says it's in my library yet but doesn't show in the "My Audiobooks" tab. I have the receipt saying I bought it, along with the proof saying it's in my library. But it revoked access to my book with no reasoning. Terrible app.

i pay full price fir audio books, and I expect full value.
audiobookstore.com gives a shady excuse for not allowing download of audio on mobile "mobile browsers wont reloably download full content" - i fell for that and installed the app, only to discover they pre-roll ads on the audio. shame on you audiobookstore.com.
i am still a customer because this is one of the only places where one can purchase an audio title and download it without being tied to an app, but only when done on a desktop or laptop computer.

Can’t download audio files
Please don’t purchase from this company. They claimed I downloaded an audiobook, but all I did was try to click it to see if I could get the audio files. I couldn’t, and now I can’t be refunded. Definitely try Libro.fm or someone else. They are not generous about refunds.

If you buy a book, it automatically starts a subscription that is not mentioned anywhere in the app description or when you purchase a book. You also cannot just opt out of it. You have to go through their customer service to cancel and they are not the most the most urgent about it. Would NEVER recommend this app or their deceptive charges

The monthly charges are not advertised. They just take it out of your account. I realised after seeing my bank statement.
Be aware of cheating!
I purchased one audiobook believing it was a one-time payment, as is standard in most audiobook stores. Nowhere during the purchase was I clearly informed that this would activate a subscription or involve recurring charges.
Later, money was deducted from my account without my clear consent. The app lacks transparency about subscriptions and billing, which is misleading and unacceptable.
I have requested cancellation and a refund. I do not recommend this app due to dishonest billing practices and poor communication with customers.

They offer audiobooks at a similar price to Audible, but only if you subscribe… which is hidden in the fine print.

THE WORST APP EVER - DONT DOWNLOAD THIS APP
I BOUGHT TWO AUDIO BOOKS AND THEY CHARGED ME EVERY MONTH WITH THE SAME AMOUNT WHEN I BOUGHT FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!! THERE IS NO COSTUMER CARE WHO CAN HELP AND I DONT EVEN KNOW HOW TO DELETE THIS BECAUSE IT WILL JUST KEEP ON CHARGING YOU.
