Amazing
This is one of the best local music player apps I’ve ever used.
Just a few things tho
I noticed there’s a bug to where when music is not playing it still shows that it’s playing on the music player widget on my phone. I’ve also noticed sometimes when changing album artwork it will delete itself and I’ll have to add it again. And lastly when uploading music from my files the metadata doesn’t seem to
Upload and I have to manually do it myself.

Great App
Mostly leaving this because of the guys complaining about $10 a year. This is a great app and you get ALL the features of the app for free if you listen to MP3s. If you want FLAC, WAV, AIFF, etc it’s $10 FOR LIFE. Are we really complaining about 10 bucks for really well made app that puts us back in control of our music? If you’re the developer reading this, I’m enjoying the heck out of it. Things I’d love:
1) Using the EQ isn’t as intuitive as I’d like. For example, hitting low pass, etc doesn’t apply it. Maybe I have to keep using it.
2) I import multiple folders into the library, it would be great to be able to see “Folders” right in the main menu where Albums and Playlists are.
3) We should be able to add a song to a playlist right from the song itself. Either a long press or from the three little dots on the top right where “Go to Album” is. A long press > Add to Playlist would be especially helpful when you go to search, search for an artist, and see a bunch of their songs.
4) Lastly, there is another app out there that has an excellent user’s manual. It details how to use all the features of the app. That app costs $40 a year so I’m not expecting that same level of detail, but it would be invaluable for someone like me who isn’t really a super serious audio guy.
P.S. A greyscale mode would also be cool.
This is all to say. This app is $10 for life. I’m not expecting any of these changes. The developer is killing it with this app. Let the dude work and pay your ten bucks.

Hidden Subscription
This honestly looked perfect for what I wanted because it’s simple and no Wi-Fi is necessary at all, but upon opening it you get a 14 day “trial” to basic features, after that you need to pay a subscription to use it.
I understand having an app up is expensive and it’s only 99 cents but come on now, at least have that somewhere on your app page! That means this isn’t free.
