This was an instant essential app for me

Lots of things can be accomplished with AUM, so I’ll focus on what’s helped my workflow most- controlling hardware synths with iOS sequencer plugins like Fugue Machine Rubato, MidiStep, etc. There are other ways to do this but none are as quick, intuitive, and seamless as this delightful little app.

I’ve had this app for probably eight years, but to be honest I’ve been getting more into it more in the last six months. Once I started to figure out a workflow to allow me to jam and then record those 4 and 8 bar jams in AUM and then being able to take those recordings and sequence them in BeatMaker 3 to finish a track. Perfect combo.
