What's New in Aurelius

4.1.0

July 29, 2026

"I examine my entire day and go back over what I have done and said, hiding nothing from myself, passing nothing by," is how Seneca described his nightly practice. Today, we are taking the next step in the development of the "Prosoche · Time Tracking" feature by adding the Activity History. Every passing day is time that already belongs to death. But how exactly did we surrender this day? Previously, we gave you a tool to track the present moment. Now, we are giving you the ability to answer this question by taking an honest look at your past. The new feature saves your continuous timeline of attention into a clear, visual chronology. We have remained true to our principles: the history is absolutely immutable. You cannot delete a session or adjust the time to make your day look more "productive." If you spent three hours on empty entertainment or forgot to switch the timer, it will remain in your ledger forever. Looking at such a history can be uncomfortable. The immutability of the data means you will come face to face with wasted hours. But it is precisely in this discomfort that the point of growth lies. A Stoic does not avert their gaze from their mistakes. They accept them as a given fact and use them as material for evening self-reflection, in order to be more attentive tomorrow. The history of your time is not a tool for self-criticism. It is your personal philosophical diary, written in the language of actions. The update is already available in Aurelius. Open your history tonight and hold an honest trial of your day.
