Austin Bank, I’ve been banking with you all for over 20 years. I’ve had auto loans and personal loans and borrowed money to fix up our home. I want to provide some constructive feedback. Austin Bank’s mobile device experience is well behind what it should be for 2026. Your app is dated and could us a refresh. More times than I can count, I can’t even sign into the app. In this day and age we should be able to add our debit cards to our mobile phones wallet. Yet Auston Bank does not allow that. Ridiculous !!
As a long time and loyal Austin Bank customer I really hope you consider joining the current trend and offer more services for your customers.
I hope my feedback was honest and allowed for a more honest conversation within the company.

We have been customers since 2007 I think a year after moving to Texas. We love the small town service of Austin Bank and the attention to detail to keep our accounts safe! We appreciate yall so much!

We have regretfully tried Austin Bank for our new LLC. Their app is an absolute nightmare. You will never know how much is due if you have a loan or LOC, unless you can login from a desktop computer. Even then, a password reset will be necessary every. single. time you login. You will need to call your banker with every payment, and make sure your payment was properly applied. It will NOT be properly applied (to interest & principle) unless you do this every single time. They will charge you a late fee if it is not properly applied, and it will be placed on your credit as late. Seriously!! I highly recommend Altra FCU, Bank Of America, and Vera Bank. Their apps are so customer friendly. Everything is what you would expect from a banking app. There are no surprises! I do not recommend Austin Bank!! I’ve jumped through my last hoop trying to make a payment correctly with them.

Idk how hard it is to make a properly functioning app but this one ain’t it I can count on one hand how many time this terrible app has worked with out issue
Overall Experience
My overall experience with this app hasn’t been great. Every so often I will receive a message stating the app is having technical difficulties. The app has been convenient at times, however all the bugs and issues with logging in and having to set my quick balance on has become a nuisance. If Austin Bank truly cares about their customers, they should begin with having a better app for convenience. Do better.

Can’t log in
Will not let me log in. Over and over I continue to have problems with this app, not letting me login

Authentication error
I get the same authentication error literally every single time I log in. I never log in on the first try because of the error. It’s been present since I got the app several years ago. I don’t understand how there hasn’t been a fix for this…

Have to log in twice
Every time I log. I get a message that the app doesn’t recognize me. I have to hit ok then log in. Also the app is so elementary. Other banks have programs to save for Christmas funds that are automatically deducted. We need that. The alerts also don’t work as the should in every account.

So when I’m on the roads, running errands it makes it inconvenient when it won’t let me use my face to open the app. This happens WAY TOO OFTEN LIKE EVERY WEEK. I like to look and see how much $ is left in my account allot. It’s not keeping my user name or pw stored on my phone which Is locked all the time. Why?
Update: It started working again but now it’s not showing it needs an update. I have elected to use my face id… again. Now it’s acting up again. Grrr!

Great App!

No Apple Pay
Been banking for years with Austin bank and we still can’t get Apple Pay or even Zelle. We need to step it up.
Sometimes makes you re-log in often even with keep logged in on
I understand once in a while for fraud purposes to log in random times. But lately it has been a few times in a row. Sometimes the password sometimes both user name and password. I don’t use the same one on all apps so I have all my stuff written down at home. Makes it very inconvenient when you’re not at home to have this happen. You have no updates at the moment. But now it isn’t letting me log on at all due to whatever message you have thrown up. I’d like to know what is going on with my account. Also do you give the option to add our cards to the wallet app yet? Other than that, great app.
