Unreliable
Just unreliable have to use Apple Maps make sure the bus route is correct
Horrible. Absolute disgrace of an application.
It is impossible to use this application. There is no data being loaded to my device.
To pay or not to pay?
Does not show how to use app to pay fare
It’s solid.
User interface could be more simple. Good otherwise.
I’ll just wait for the next app
Download the app yourself and the first impression when you open it will most likely tell you everything you need to know. It’s a scam app that charges users for public transit route access. And even worse, the developers’ only argument to support it’s value, is that you can see the bus moving on the map hahahaha. Just wait until cap metro finds a new app and use google in the meantime

Charge you for stop times
Well that’s what it is. I just wanted to check bus stop times, texts are not working currently so I tried this app. Oh wait I have to pay just to use it? Nevermind.
Not what you need if looking for assistance with info for free

Greedy company!!
Why tf are you gonna charge me to see more routes?! What happened to the free app this is ridiculous!!
Bad app
Can’t even find the address OR the building itself that I am trying to locate on the app
Glitchy
The times are always off (by several hours) and it has been quite unusable because of that. It has been very glitchy :/ really wanted it to be usable!
Useless app
Literally the only thing this app is for is to see bus schedules and it never has accurate times. Like it’s 11 now and it will only show me routes for after 1. There’s no reason Google maps should work better than a dedicated bus app. Do better.
girl what
how is this even worse than the last one
Scam
Scam
Disgusting, worthless
There used to be a free, working CapMetro app. It became unavailable a few months ago and was replaced with this unusable new app. It never shows the nearest route to your destination. Instead it recommends routes which take you miles out of your way, add unnecessary bus switchovers, and/or depart/arrive hours later than necessary. Sometimes when you close and immediately reopen the app these routes will be replaced seemingly at random with equally useless ones. Whoever decided to remove free access to an essential public service and instead charge users for bad information is completely vile.

Total garbage, but there’s no other choice
This is the 3rd or 4th Austin metro app I’ve used, I’m guessing it’s a contract and this is the new lowest bidder. There is nothing intuitive about this app, when you’re looking for a bus it’ll tell you to walk 3/4 of a mile one direction when there’s a stop for the same bus half that distance just walking the other direction. Even more frustrating than that it seems to only give you routes in hour intervals or longer when most of the stops have pickups every 15 minutes. And to top it all off they’re trying to make it a paid app. Opening it for the first time it offers you a “free week,” that I struggle to find a way to cancel, and if you press to skip the trial offer, it signs you up anyway. If the point of the app is to make you more resourceful on your own without the app, then they’re doing great; if it’s to be actually helpful than they’re failing miserably and trying to screw you over. Again, we have no other choice because the old, good app isn’t online anymore. It took a lot of patience to not swear writing this review but I’m sure it wouldn’t go up if I did, but users should be warned what they’re going to have to deal with.

Inaccurate and Misleading
This is the worse app imaginable if you want to accurately predict your transportation
Very confusing
I’m pretty tech savvy but this is such a confusing interface. Not just in comparison to the old cap metro app. It’s very showy and I really wish I could just simply see bus times in real time like before
Useless
Why would I use this when Google does the same thing better
Bus times
Bus never on schedule according to app
Could not be worse
Unbelievable that the first thing a public transit app does is hit you up for a paid (“FREE TRIAL”) offer. And what do you get for your monthly credit card ding? Well, after saving (starring) a SINGLE STOP in the app, you’ll hit “Limit reached: You need Premium to manage more than one saved stop”! (Which may work great for you if you tend to get on the bus at a regular stop but never get off it?)
Where do you buy fares? Where’s a system map?
CapMetro: not sure how you let this developer talk you into this garbage. Your previous app wasn’t perfect but LORD was it better than this. And monetizing a public transit app in this way is just awful. These are BUS RIDERS, for god’s sake. You know better.

How The H3LL do I buy tickets??
I have stumbled all through this app and do not see a way to buy tickets like on the previous app. So am I to assume all rides are free now? 🙄🙄🙄
