Customer support didn’t even know app existed
This app is a total disaster - avoid! I’m a print subscriber, yet was unable to login with my details. Hilariously, when I called customer service to help, they didn’t even know this app existed and were eager to jump onto the next call! Luckily I have a print subscription, if I’d paid money for a digital only subscription I’d be livid.

A really poor user experience
One of the worst apps we have used in terms of its usability and stability. Search function was offline for a month...my wife’s app has crashed four times and all offline content lost. The articles layout is hard to follow. The advertising content as a proportion of the actual content way too high. Very, very poor. tried to discuss with Australian Geographic and gave up after being on hold for 20 minutes

Always interesting
I subscribed to AG for many years as a hard copy reader but the magazines were taking up too much space. Now I get the same great magazine digitally and it takes no more space than my iPad. Great app, great magazine, great value for money.

Was once Impressive
I really used to like the app for the magazine, but now all you get is a PDF version of the magazine. Really quite a backward step and very disappointing.
Weird app
Good magazine, weird app. The description says that 1yr costs $39.99 but when you run the app it asks for $19.99 for a year. So which is it??
Here it says you get a free trial "at the time of purchase" but doesn't say whether you get a full refund if you 'cancel' or whether billing is delayed for 30 days or what???? And in the app it says you get a free issue. So which is it - a free trial or an extra free issue??
The funny thing is that when I went looking for a copy to check out I then found that I could get a free digital copy every month through the local library anyway. So you lost me. Good mag. Dumb app.

"Free Trial" that you have to pay for?
How can you offer a "free trial" for 30 days that is only given after you buy a subscription??? That's not a free trial. I've never seen either the print or digital version and would like to see one first. A 30 minute free trial would be enough. All that downloaded was a cover photo and more requests for money. And how do you give a 30 day free trial on a magazine that comes out every two months? Confusing. Please clarify the description. Better still, give a genuine free trial.

Don't buy
This is the second time I have subscribed to this mag on my Ipad and it keeps crashing really peeved, last time my subscription was just canceled no refund no nothing no way to contact the makers for help.... Seems that if I want to read this fab mag I have to download the preview only.... Please fix it AG....

Great use of interactive technology in a magazine - certainly worth converting over from the paper version.
Does not work with iOS8.
The app does not work with the new iOS8 update. Cannot download issues. Please update. Subscription bought and paid for, but cannot access the magazine.
When working, this is a great magazine that is more than just converted pages. Interactive, videos, etc. More than the print version.

Nice, standard ipad magazine app
It's much like many other good ipad magazine apps. But it's well put together. And the content is lovely on the iPad's screen.
