Edited prev review and now feel a bit silly (and can’t currently access that review to edit out silliness). App is fab and it DOES show up in dropdown menu from clicking AA in url bar although not individually. To turn off Autarky I must of course toggle off ‘content blockers’.
I wish content blockers were individually listed and able to be toggled on or off the way safari extensions are.
Many webpages are such that I really want adblocking but need javascript on for site to work properly!
I wish I could - from the AA url bar dropdown menu, toggle Autarky off but leave Adguard on.
This is no doubt a limitation imposed by apple and admittedly I am still on 15.1 (on an iphone 8+ too lol) perhaps this limitation is no longer imposed.
Anyway five stars still I will keep an eye on this app and you as a dev it’s a really good idea!

Almost Perfect!
Thanks for making this extension! IMO the only this missing is the ability to allowlist websites, other than that it does exactly what you expect, disables 3rd party Javascript.
Needs white list ability
It’s not very useful without the ability to whitelist. Some websites won’t function without 3rd party JavaScript. For this reason I regret buying it and can’t recommend it.
No per site control
Bought this to disable JavaScript by site but the settings seem to be global only. I can already do that in safari settings already.
Response from developer
Hi DNVR1, thank you for using Autarky. Autarky blocks 3rd party JavaScript only and does not block JavaScript hosted on the same domain, that’s by design. I’m sorry it did not live up to your expectations. I wish I could refund your purchase but I can’t, only Apple can. You can contact AppStore support to request a refund. Kind regards, Jonatan van der Horst (developer of the app)
the best content blocker for my purposes - works on M1 Macs too
All I want in a content blocker is to disable 3rd party javascript. This app does thst with a minimum of fuss. And it works better than any other similar type of content blocker on M1 Macs. I don't have to add user scripts to enable anything on the Mac. I can disable it on a site-specific basis using Safari's built in tool for that sort of thing.
All in all, I couldn't be more satisfied with this content blocker.
