Sneaky app

I was downloading an app for work and this pre-populated and required me to go through the prompts in order to continue my download and then charge me $40. I immediately canceled, but this clearly is a historical issue with this app and should get a refund.

As the other review with the same title, I fell for this TRICK as well! DO NOT fall use this, Symantec VIP is free, this is a scam!! Cancelled already and told them to keep my $$ as I just want nothing to do with a company like this.

I had to download this app to set up an online store. It was noted on my platform that the app was free. When I went to open it, it took me to the page to sign up for the subscription. It needed my finger print which I did not give, however it seemed to time out and signed me up for the subscription anyway. Kinda feel like I had $40!stolen from me.

…DONT USE THIS APP…. you will wind getting charged for zero usage when it isn’t what you need

I downloaded this app to use it it didn’t sync with the service I was attempting to use and, upon further research, I found out this app was incorrect for that service and wasn’t compatible with the other app involved so now I’m dealing with incessant requests for payment from my Apple Account from this company and their incompatible app….

Beware

1 star bc it wouldn’t let me leave 0. I searched up the exact name of a different app needed for my job. This one apparently was put first on the list and I mistakenly clicked it instead and when I downloaded the app it automatically signed me up for a year subscription ($42+ change) that I did not need or want. I was denied a refund. So beware that when you search up a specific other app this one comes up first and then you’re stuck with an app you will not use.

Not free

Can’t believe this costs money and we have to enter a code instead of pushing a button on my phone. All the other Authenticator apps I have used before were free and only made me push a button instead of entering a 6 digit code like this one does. So disappointing.

While trying to get an authentication code this application spoon fed me to a $40 charge that I have yet to be able to refund.Be careful with this as it’s not necessary to spend $40 dollars I am not he only person saying this so be careful.

This app took £39.99 subscription charge and it does not allow to cancel it. It took payment immediately from my bank account. Chasing up for refund of £39.99

No, I don't care for the app

In the course of setting this for accessing my Social Security account. Paid my 40 bucks. Back to the site to find that I didn't really need it. Didn't realise it was going to cost 40 bucks for a perfectly useless app.

Not Free. Pay Screen Always Pops Up.

Cannot access any function. Pay screen for $39. Comes up when pressing any button. You can back out but but you cannot bypass the pay screen to do anything.

Be careful

I installed this because it was recommended by another site. While installing, it takes you to a page to purchase ‘premium’. I did not readily see how to get around it and accidentally hit continue. Didn’t even see where the charge was. But somehow ended up buying something I don’t need or want. Now I am out $40. I did go and report my case, by apple refused the refund. I did cancel the subscription so it doesn’t hit me again next year. But I would stay away from this app as it is easy to miss where you are getting charged. I am sure it is designed that way.
