Terrible

This is the worst app that’s ever been made, it’s only job is to find the key of whatever music is being played and still gets it wrong regularly, how has this been passed? It’s faulty

Help

Love it, won’t let me register, won’t let me reset password, won’t let me log in, infinitely stuck not being able to use it :(

Useful

Useful for getting a ball park idea - though not nearly accurate enough - particular for Antares.
For simple piano music it gives wildly different results when checking the same piece.

The piano keyboard displayed is far too quiet - even with the speaker next to my ear - then of course I cannot see the keys.

Rather pay than sign up

Can i just pay for the app and not make a login? I don’t understand why key detection requires a username and password. I liked this app before this change because it was simple to use, with no extra stuff. Now idk

Fails

Will not allow sign or reset password!

Bring auto tune to ipad

Hi, please bring auto tune. iPad would be amazing to have it and if you have any vocal sinking tools, you can bring as well. It would be very useful.

Wrong Keys

I tried this app, every single song I sung, it gave me the wrong key. And besides that the app is slow. They say perfect pitch in your pocket… someone with perfect pitch will know the key almost instantly. This requires like 10 seconds of singing… just to give you the wrong key. Imagine how embarrassing it would be if a tone deaf person were relying on this app in a Live Musical Setting.

Another account driven app

Starts off well - but after a few uses request to make an account. If something’s free you are the commodity.

Doesn’t work

Keys are usually wrong

No good results

I tested on some reggae tunes I know the keys of, but it failed and after a few attempts I should have had to register. Nonsense.

Excellent utility

I’m impressed! Very accurate results. It would be even more valuable if was able to display the Camelot key too.

So many questions

Why do I need an account for this? What does me having an account add to my experience? How many nights has the developer spent crying alone in bed?

Was great, now not

Great app, until it asked to create account - buggy and can’t access the new account.

Please add camelot and bpm

Works! But seeing bpm and Camelot world be next level!!!

Didn’t work for me

Tried 4 times with one song and came up with 3 different keys, none of which matched official key.

Tut was es soll

Eine App gesucht, die über Mikrofon die Tonart eines Liedes erkennt.
Klappt super👍🏻

Waste of your time

Totally disgusting. Apple should really remove companies like this from the platform. Originally, I gave this app a glowing review, only to discover that after a handful of uses it goes for the data grab. You will be blocked from using it unless you give over your data.

Accessibility

As a user with low vision, the app was accessible for me — which was great. I came back to use it today and was asked to create an account. However, I cannot see the small faint font to do this. Now I’m locked out.

Seems pretty handy for picking harmonica keys

After I used it a few times it blocked me and wanted me to sign up. The agreement to continue using it gives up all my information they collect to 3rd parties. What a shame; I deleted the app. I was looking forward to using it. I would pay a small fee if it didn’t require giving up my information and constantly get bugged by 3rd parties…

What for?

The App only detects the main key a piece is written in. Why do I need an app for that? If I know the concert pitch A then I just listen a couple of seconds and know the key. I had hoped that the app would spit out the chord progression of a song. That would be useful.
