Needs update

Dislike the app

Poor App

App won’t work unless you have location services turned on. This is pretty bad when you are at the car wash entry kiosk. They know where I am.

App is trash service is worse.

App is so out of date and errors out location on a regular basis. Wash is broke or out of service 10-15 percent of the time.

Auto spa

I can’t see where to cancel the membership.

Needs some serious improvement

I’ll start off with I’m very happy with the car wash - it does a great job and the people are great.

The app on the other hand is an exercise in frustration. Can’t get the wash code before physically being at the car wash slows things down. And then there’s the ‘Finished’ button on the code page - tap that and you’re done. It doesn’t clear the previous code after the wash either it’s a pain to get the right code. Why is that button even there? Obviously they’re keeping track of which code goes where and is used when - is it really that difficult to update my account when the code is ACTUALLY used instead of making me, the paying customer, track that information for you? Please fix this, it’s highly frustrating.

No support response

App does not let me delete a device and add new. Support does not respond.

Not so clean

Washed a 2024 Ram 3500 with minor mud in the fender wells from driving through a dirt driveway. Wash didn’t touch any of it. Makes me question promises of an under body spray. Did not discover the failure until reaching home. None of the works said anything.

Great car wash

Love this place, everyone is very friendly and the car wash does a great job

Cant make an account

I have to make an account to use coupons but when I enter my info and press submit it doesn’t do anything.

Excellent Customer Service.

The Selah location is super legit. When I did have an issue they come thru. Customer Service is on point. If only the scanner wasn’t out of service so often. I can only use my monthly pass at the Automatic wash, so I’ve had to pay for 3 washes while having the monthly pass, I could have waited but pre applied bug tar to my vehicle. So either way⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

App is garbage

The app doesn’t let me create an account, 0/10

Looks like there’s potential

I can’t log in to the account I created because my password is “wrong”; can’t reset the password for the account because the account doesn’t exist, and can’t create a new account because the phone number is already associated with an account. Nothing tells me what account my phone number is associated with, and every time I have to log in or enter any information it has to be typed - no autofill.

Perfect for the family

We are happy to have this membership. And happy with the cupón codes to get discount every ones in a while. I do recommend this Autospa

Gets the job done. A few tweaks needed

The app does a good job of synchronizing with the local car wash station. It takes too many clicks to get the code up, and if I’m listening to music or a podcast, the audio of the app turns off any other audio playing to tell you in a very loud voice “Welcome to AutoSpa! Please enter a code to start your car wash!” which is completely unnecessary.

Unable to fix error

Sometimes when I come to the car wash and I open up the AutoSpa app on my phone and I want to wash my car using the soft touch I accidentally press the option for a touchless car wash which I don’t like because it doesn’t do a very good job. I really wish there was an option to go back and select a different wash instead of being stuck with my mistake and not able to wash until the next day!!

Updated Review

My wife drove on a trip over the weekend, and her car got pretty muddy in the process. She asked me to run it through the car wash for her, so I attempted to do that today. It was not a good day.

There are two AutoSpa locations in my town, and they are about 15 miles from my home. I got up this morning and drove to the location that I normally use. I ran the app to get a code to wash the car. This is where it all went wrong.

After getting the code, I went to enter it into the kiosk, but the terminal was closed, even though I was in the after-hours lane (and I always wash the car after hours, so this was a surprise). And this is where this app earns its one star rating.

Once I realized that the terminal was closed, there was no way to indicate to the app that I could not use the code. My only option was to hit the "finished" button. I tried saying "no", but that just took me back to the screen where "yes" and "no" were the only options. So I guess that my only option was to lie and say "yes".

I went from there, to the other location. Of course, at this point, when I tried to get a code for that location, the app refused, saying that I'd already used my one wash for the day. There was a button on this dialog that said "get help", so I tried it. It only started email on my phone, with an address pre-populated. Yeah, I am not going to try typing this problem out on a phone screen. And given that it's email, it would have been useless anyway, since there was no way that I'd get a response that could actually help me at the time I needed it.

So I had to back out of the lane (while other vehicles wanted in). Yay.

So this leads me to another complaint about the app: The only reason that I even had to drive into town in the morning, is that there is a ridiculous policy of allowing the app to be installled on only one phone. For my wife and I, it makes sense that I have the app, which means that she can never wash the car that she drives daily. If she could have, she would have washed the car right after her trip. Instead, I always have to make a special trip into town, even though she is in town every day.

So I have wasted an hour of my time this morning. I drove a 30 mile round trip for nothing. My wife is going to find her car still dirty when she goes out this morning.

I fully understand that sometimes stuff happens. The difference between a good company and a poor one is how problems are handled. I don't know why the first location was closed this morning, but I should have been able to just use the other location. But due to the poor design of the app, the useless help function, and the policy of only allowing the app on one phone, I was denied the service that I pay (and pay quite a lot) for.

Oh, and to add insult to injury, I can't find any way in the app to get the email address again to sent a message for help. It does not appear to be shown anywhere in the app. I tried reproducing the message with the help link, but since I am not physically located at one of the locations, I can't even do that.

So instead of a private email for help, my only recourse appears to be to post this rating here.

Thanks.

Keeping a Clean car

The guys who work here are super helpful and nice.

Updated Review

I am amending my previous review of this app.

I took another car to the Ellensburg Main location to try the touchless wash there. While we were there, we spoke to one of the folks working there and expressed our concerns from a few days earlier.

It seems that the Ellensburg Water location has an older machine that works differently. We used this app at the Main location for the touchless ultimate wash, and had the same good experience that I had before getting this app. This confirms that the issue is a difference in locations. It is not an issue with using the app versus buying a single wash.

We will be taking our cars to the Ellensburg Main location from now on, as that one seems to do a much better job than the Ellensburg Water location.

———————————————————-

I am very disappointed with AutoSpa. A few days ago, I took one of my cars through the Ellensburg Main location. I selected the Touchless Ultimate wash for $14. I was happy with the result. Based on that experience, I decided to install this app and join the club for $35 per month. This should give me six ultimate washes, just like the one above. So I installed the app today and took my other car to the Ellensburg Water location. I selected the same Touchless Ultimate wash that I did at the previous location. This time, the results were unacceptable. The wash itself took about 1/4 the time as the earlier one. The machine only made a few passes over the car. The first one rinsed it. The next one was a bit higher pressure. The next dropped just a few drops of the multi-colored foam (the earlier wash completely coated the car; this one was just a few drops). I don't remember a pass that actually applied soap to the car. It then "rinsed" the car and finally "dried" it with forced air. I put "rinsed" and "dried" in quotes because when it was done, the car was still soaking wet, with left over foam in a number of places. I'm glad that it didn't actually get soapy, because it would have been even worse. I'm not sure if the Ellensburg Water location is just a bad location versus the Ellensburg Main, or if by using the app, I got a super-cheap wash. In any case, I now have a car that didn't get clean, and now has a whole bunch of water spots that I have to deal with. I wouldn't want my car washed this poorly for free.
