Will not connect to network
App just sits there and never connects , toggled network on and off multiple times and still nothing

This is an essential app for my Denon receiver. It’s great to be able to quickly set the volume exactly how I want it, even if I can’t see the display on the unit.
Cannot connect to WIFI Network!
App cannot connect to my WIFI network at home. I have plenty of bandwidth on my network!
Does not work on my IPad
I have had this installed for a few weeks now - but not been able to get it to work. The app appears to install correctly but when opened it shows the message ‘Connecting to local Network. This must be enabled in Settings’.
Well the only setting in the app settings is enabled already - but the app does not get further than this check…

It just works
I have a Marantz receiver and sometimes want to use a phone app to change the volume. The Marantz-provided iPhone app is janky and glitchy. This one works; recognized my receiver in seconds and was immediately usable

This app is awesome. But it would be nice if it had a mute button and sorce switching.
If “control” means volume…
Couldn’t you add play/pause button at least? Why stop half-way?
Perfect app
Launches faster than the official Denon app and works perfectly. I wish there were more apps like this out there! Simple, focused, no bloat. Just a perfect little app.

Would be even better if it had source switching, but hey, it’s free, faster than the official app, and the simplicity is kind of the point.
Simple and useful!
I use AV Remote every single day! My Denon doesn’t show any UI on my 4k TV and it’s hidden in a cabinet, so this is literally the only way for me to know the numeric volume level.

AV Remote is a FREE app with no in-app purchases or subscriptions. Maybe you're confusing us with another app?

Endlich mal eine einfache App, dachte ich. Leider ist es ein Lotteriespiel ob sie geht oder nicht. Wenn nicht muss man sie löschen und wieder aufspielen. Dann beginnt die Lotterie von vorn. Schade!
Easy indeed
Downloaded the app, fired it up and worked straight away for my Marantz amp. There might be some flaws, but it does all I need, which is volume control.

Works exactly as advertised and is so, so much faster than the Denon app. Having the presets is amazing and it works from surprisingly far away. I use this all the time now.
SIMPLY not perfect yet | EINFACH noch nicht perfect
I really like the simplicity of this app and it works fine when connected with a device but has a serious problem when multiple HEOS built-in devices are in a network.
Issue: Never know which device will be controlled until opening the app and then there is no option to switch between multiple devices. Actually it connects one time to my Marantz AVR the other time to my Denon Ceol which are in different rooms within my network.
