Steer well clear of absolute scam.
They are lucky to get one star. I purchased avast premium security today and it was the biggest waste of money I have ever known. A simple problem I forgot my Advanced account password. There is no way to reset your password. They send you round and round and round and round and round and round and round in Circles only to end up in exactly the same place where you wanted to report the problem there is no way to get a refund although they tell you that they are the biggest scammers in the antivirus industry absolute scandalous disgusting always asking for money app which you won’t get or you will just get sent round in circles again and again and again I will never ever use this company again. They are absolute thieves steer well clear.

After using avast for years and years the VPN is failing and AI help is useless! Have done all trouble shooting and no joy! Failing to connect to VPN constantly. All updated and premium customer

Don't pay for Premium!
Avast One on iPhone and iPad is not recognizing multi-device Premium subscriptions. I paid for a multi-device Premium plan, but Avast One on iPhone and iPad thinks I only have the free plan.

Don't pay for Premium!
Avast One on iOS/iPadOS is not recognizing paid Premium subscriptions. I paid for a multi-device Premium plan, but Avast One on iPadOS thinks I only have the free plan.

I just pay 3 time the premium version because it doesn’t work, for someting like 300$. I never get the prenium version. After I contact the support I never get any answer. Avast it’s for me a very bad experience

I feel safe with this on my phone by find it also stops me using my phone abroad also on lots of occasions
Blocks the wrong program
It has a nasty habit of blocking programs it's not familiar with without notify you.

Sad demise of great app
I’ll start by saying I LOVED this app - the vault for photos has been fantastic. Following a recent update the vault has emptied and now I’ve lost things I kept safe in there. The ‘help’ option basically says - your fault you uninstalled app. I did not. It was the update.
So yeah what was once exactly what I needed is no longer something I will recommend. Try something else. Just thankful I didn’t need to access things in an emergency. Sigh. Very disappointed there’s no one to actually tell about the issue. Will be researching other options for my next renewal of security.
