I don’t even think this app does anything we’re wasting money. Now I can’t use Netflix and I can’t login to your app which I pay for to fix any settings. Total scam.

The VPN is unstable
Great but when Scam Guarden is enabled
When it’s enabled and I open my iPhone settings, vpn, I see it’s disabled, yet Avast app says it’s enabled. So I always have to open iPhone settings and make sure VPN it’s enabled. Please fix this. Even when I install say ProtonVPN I enable that, then later I turn it off and I find Avast still says Scam Guard is enabled when it’s actually not on.

Won't let me open

26.11.1 fails to work on iOS
3 months of hell. Have an online Avast Gold Individual account - 2 year contract, successful use or earlier versions of Avast One on mobile iOS devices but now cannot: log in to the mobile app Avast One (26.11.1) on iPhone/iPad, use email Guardian for my registered email address, add more email addresses to my account, no hack check reports generated, emails sent to Avast Support are rejected and not delivered. Have approached Avast Customer Support multiple times and been escalated to the Senior Team on several occasions - no response received.

Can’t get past sign-in
I am unable to sign into this app using my existing account information. I’m not sure what the issue is, because I can login to other apps from Avast just fine. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app, signing in with my password, and signing in with a one time passcode. Nothing has worked. I get a message saying “Oops, something went wrong. We're fixing an issue that prevents us from completing your request. Please try again later.”

Despite installing every update offered, it’s been months since I’ve been able to connect to my local VPN and a bunch of other US ones, which is the only thing I use this app for. I’m not gonna bother renewing my subscription. I’ll find something else.

Works good
I have used avast for years and it works much better now now that the app was updated. It has blocked many, malicious websites over the years, saving me from hackers.

I think this may be a scam …. Avoid
I recently noticed that Avast One has charged me £39.99 for a subscription which I have never requested and do not require. I have never down loaded the app and would discourage anyone from doing so. I see from other published reviews that I am not the only person to be mis-charged by this crew. What ever you do don’t by via apple because the companies spurious 30 day refund policy doesn’t apply to purchases via Apple. For all I know it doesn’t apply to any purchases. This is not a good organisation to trade with.

The app drains your battery in the background. Avast needs to seriously look into this.
thieves charge you even during free trial
i haven’t even finished my free trial and this app has decided to charge me $20 all of a sudden. i even went out of my way to cancel the free subscription before renewal before this happened. imagine putting trust into this app to keep your phone safe and instead they unrightfully take your money instead. horrible service, and never recommending this app to anybody and i’m going out of my way to tell everybody how predatory this service is.
