No Issues for AWHILE
I’m fairly happy with this product. I do intermittently have issues signing in with my master password but it always ends up working eventually. I prefer this method to google management.
The app randomly stops behaving.
The app started acting tremendously stupid, annoying enough requiring to access it multiple times often in only a few minutes, but then the same master suddenly starts returning as invalid. The exact same means of access works outside the app, however, the app became pointless to have as it no longer works.

Garbage. iOS version frequently fails to authenticate itself.
What is the point of a password keeper if it frequently fails to authenticate itself (master password)? It just locks you out of your own system.

Always Crashes
Log-in, added Password and has crashed for several months.
Loading time has seriously deteriorated
I’ve been using this app for a couple of years, but for the last 6 months it takes forever to auto-fill passwords on a site. It opens up and runs face id and then gets stuck and won’t show the passwords. The fix is to close the web browser, go to the avira app, open and verify there - which also takes at leasr 2 minutes to load - and then return to the original website. It used to be so good, but this is just too much friction

Was great on android, not so much with iOS
I used to have an s23. This worked great there. Never had any issues. Now with an iPhone, all the time it almost always takes multiple times of face recognition before I can login, sometimes even more than 5 times. I pass the recognition and get the checkmark, but I still don’t get logged in
Lock out
They will lock you out without a single way back in if you lose your master password. Worst part is they will tell you your master password is wrong when you haven’t changed it. I only regained access through another device

Great when it works
I have to periodically redownload the app because eventually it will stop recognizing Face ID or the master password which I know is correct. Other times I have to log in again because passwords are all blank. But when it works it’s great! It’s integrated within iOS and can select the app to fill in passwords in other apps.

I use to love it now it’s a nightmare
Got a new IPhone 17 and Avira password manager is doing my head in. Doesn’t recognize my face, I always have to type in my password. What face recognition is use for when it’s supposed to be linked to your password manager? I’ve re-installed it and it’s doing the same thing. 😮💨🙄#LaMmeEstPasContente

Bug en permanence
Très déçu par PWM qui plante en permanence. L’application n’a pas évolué depuis des années .. Dommage mais je vais passer chez la concurrence.

No SMS
I don’t receive any SMS anymore, I can’t contact the support because to do that I need to enter my account and no SMS to authenticate means no access to my account.
Nach Update keine Anmeldung + Wiederherstellung über Face ID nicht mehr möglich
Nach dem Update wurde ich automatisch ausgeloggt. Eine Anmeldung über Face ID ist nicht möglich, obwohl in meinen Einstellungen aktiviert. Aktivierung über ein zweites Gerät, welches die App ebenfalls über Face ID öffnet, funktioniert ebenfalls nicht, obwohl dies als Option bei vergessenem Masterpasswort angegeben wird. Support nicht erreichbar, ich soll ein Upgrade auf Premium kaufen, obwohl ich dies bereits besitze. Chat fragt vorgegeben Themen ab und verweist auf die Community. Das Problem scheinen hier ja mehrere Nutzer zu haben. Sorry, Avira, so geht das nicht. Ich such mir einen anderen Anbieter. Und auf die Kommentare hier könntet Ihr gerne auch mal antworten.

Buggy on a fundamental level.
Clashes with iOS keyword chain; intermittent and persistent inability to authenticate using fingerprint sensor; and worst of all, will lose its mind and ask for authentication with master password but fail, until a cold hard reboot. What the hell? Amateur hour bugs for a password manager - if this isn't working, how can anyone believe that the hard stuff (the actual security and protection of passwords) actually works?

Doesn’t login half the time!!
Correct master password entered yet half the time it doesn’t login and says my password is incorrect. Have to go direct to the app and login, then return to original app I’m trying to access. Fix this issue!! It’s been happening forever on Apple iPhone app, especially when opening through an app trying to be accessed. What’s the point if I can’t get to my passwords? Same issue with face recognition- works only sporadically.

Super bis auf am IPad
Früher ging alles ohne Probleme, mittlerweile komme ich weder bei meinem iPad noch an meinem iPhone zuverlässig rein. Face-ID erkennet mein Gesicht und nichts weiter passiert. Das korrekte Passwort wird als Falsch bezeichnet (am PC geht alles). Ich werde jetzt wechseln, neu installieren bringt für 1-2 Wochen etwas und dann das gleiche Spiel erneut. (iPhone 13, iPad Pro gen 4).
