Really easy to use well designed app
ID Verification Continually Fails
For months my in App profile shows a message stating my ID has expired. I've then uploaded new licence/selfie photos and waited on approval but this never happens and the ID message remains. I've been informed by Avis contact centre this is an app problem but why has this been fixed yet as it impact speedy pickups? Apart from that the app is great for booking.

Hire Not Updated
I rented a vehicle for 5 weeks via my airline (British Airways). The App now shows my rental “Overdue”.
I understand 4 weeks is a long time, but 5 weeks is not much longer.
Why can’t the App automatically update at the end of the 4 week period to show the remaining hire left?
In an ideal world it would just show the period of the rental in total.
I have visited several AVIS desks and they all agree it is the daft way AVIS do things.

Excellent selection of cars and pick up and drop off very easy. Great service too especially at Glasgow Central Station!
No internet - wrong!
Says no internet while there’s plenty of internet.
Just ok.
Bit glitchy, doesn’t always work when trying to do basic things like make a booking. Can be frustrating. Fine when it works (of course).
Fails to see reservations
Can’t use the app as it fails to recognise my reservation, waste of space on my phone.

Never use the guest function
App lost my booking and left me flying to Ireland with no idea if I would have a car when I got there. Super stressful, awful design not mimicked by other apps that store your booking whatever the booking method. Will not be using in future.
