JSON data errors all the time. Unable to log support request. Although vouchers visible, unable to download.

When I picked up my rental in Durban they said I had to download this app for safety purposes.
They did not say it was optional or involved an extra charge of 20R a day to option further personal data from you.
I did not even tick that I agreed to the terms and conditions as the Avis rep did that for me when downloading the app onto my phone and setting it up for me as my international phone was not making it easy.
They are dishonestly rolling this apps use to gain extra revenue from foreign travellers so opt out of using it as it is a rip off and pants.

No upfront disclosure of cost! Discovery/Avis want your data and then charge you for the privilege!
Garbage telematics skimmer
Garbage rip off with avis agent telling you it’s free (it’s not) hiding it’s price on the rental invoice page you e-sign on and then amending the invoice to add in on the email version you get.
Basically it’s a telematics device that accesses all your device’s private data and gives you a coffee if if you drive “well”. Potentially the data is available to it to deny insurance coverage based on driving profile. Avoid.
