I have a feeling that all the bad reviews are from competitors. Seamless app and no bs simple camera that does what you expect it to do.

Not the best option

So as many other ratings have pointed out, this setup requires WiFi connection to function. If you use Apple CarPlay over WiFi you have to choose between having your dashcam or CarPlay active, and you dashcam will only work while you are in the car and connected to the devices WiFi. There’s just better options out there.
