Don’t Waste Your Time And Money
When I first purchased the MiGuard WiFi Alarm system everything seemed to work fine, but a few months later and all notifications have stopped. This has made the whole point of a WiFi alarm pointless. I contacted Era and they said “we no longer support that system”, I wouldn’t mind but I only bought the system about 18 months ago.
I’ve purchased a few MiGuard/Era alarm systems in the past, for both home and work. They will now be relegated to the bin and I will never buy from that company again, and I would advise anybody else to steer well clear and invest your hard earned cash in a decent alarm manufacturer, one who provides a decent level of support.

Lacks notifications
Used to get notification of alarm being tripped. No longer happens. Nothing I can do to fix it. Poor functionality. Not recommended due to poor app support.
No alerts
Has stop sending alerts to my phone no support from ERA I will have to change the whole system very disappointing
Hackable at the server - not secure
I’ve had a lot of trouble with this intruder alarm as a hacker has found a way to hack this app. My belief is that it needs some serious updates to make it safe/safer. The ease with which he has done this contributed to a home invasion during the night this week.
Recently the app has become worse. Cannot set timed arm/disarm w/out app crash. Had endless issues with the PIR beam / line sensor. Basically doesn’t work. And again and again the hacker finds my space on the server within less than 24hrs when I reconfigure the whole thing!
Abysmal, I wish I’d never purchased this. I needed a secure WiFi alarm. Or preferably seeing as I’m being targeted by a group which includes a competent hacker, a wired alarm.

Notifications aren’t working
When I accidentally set my alarm off, I don’t receive a notification on my phone. My partner doesn’t receive one either. I’ve tried to problem solve this to no avail.
Review Update
Had this alarm for over a year. All working fine. Then updated ISP to Sky Broadband. The app just kept displaying “Time out”, and I couldn’t switch the WiFi network.
So, I slated this app.
However, re-reading the instructions, I noted that the alarm must be connected to 2.4ghz.
Sky comes with both 2.4ghz and 5ghz, which are synchronised by default. I read up on how to split out and rename the 2.4ghz, then joined that WiFi.
Bingo, all working fine again!
So, apologies if my original “one star” review loaded up.
So, I slated this app.

No llegan notificaciones
La alarma funciona, pero no envía notificaciones al movil por lo que es inútil.

Poor functionality
Poor app functionality, no option of not installing firm ware updates in the app, every time i try the operation fails the app then thinks the system is updating and is rendered useless, the only option is a full reset and reinstall only for it to happen again. I would not recommend the app or the hardware.

Nice Clean Interface But Has Bugs
Nice Clean Interface... the WIFI connection side is full of bugs and can be a nightmare to pair.
Once paired adding the sensors is quite straight forward.
Adding another user is another nightmare.
You have to go through the pairing settings again and if you can not careful you could end up erasing the whole settings and start again.

Inútil
Siempre está conectada. La desconectó y salta, la vuelvo a desconectar y vuelve a saltar, y así siempre, al final hay que desmontar la base para desconectarla, no la encuentro utilidad

This was all working fine but I’ve had to reinstall and it looks as if the latest version of the app is not backwards compatible so won’t work earlier that iOS 13.
The app was the main reason for going with this alarm system to make it easy for both me and my daughters but now with no app available I would have been better going with a keypad model

I'm Surprised
After reading the reviews I regretted my purchase BUT..... I have to say once I got the entire system paired, set up (which took about 2hrs) & tested it all works perfectly! Notification fire straight through to both our phones almost instantly. So simple to use and check from anywhere. We couldn't be happier. The only thing j would say is the app could do with a face recognition update

Notifications not working
I bought this ERA alarm system because it has WIFI connectivity and was supposed to send alarm notifications to my mobile phone... but the notifications have never worked.
Don’t buy this alarm
No notification sound when alarm is triggered so waste of time having the app. Wireless outdoor siren only work occasionally. Not fit for purpose
Notifications DONT WORK
Useless as you don’t receive notifications anymore so you don’t know when alarm goes off
