Bad Opinion

In my tired stupor I was unable to unlock my phone because I am unable to stop the alarm without unlocking it. I attempted to unlock my phone so many times my phone powered off. I left my friends at the airport an hour away for two hours. If I would’ve gone with any other option, any other app or just the Apple alarms I would’ve been there on time. But because this app forces you to unlock your phone, I was unable. Thank you.

Great Potential, Annoying Bugs

I really appreciate using this app for wake-up alarms, because it actually forces me to get up. I also like that it’s built with AlarmKit and works just like a normal alarm in iOS without having to do any weird workarounds. However, the snooze button randomly stops working sometimes, and will just send me directly to the mission screen instead of snoozing the alarm for the specified duration. Also, I linked it with the Structured app to see my tasks in my morning briefing, and that never worked, which prevented me from considering using Structured at all. I am paying for Awake Pro, and really want to like this app, but it’s still a little rough in its current state.

UPDATE: Seit dieser Woche funktioniert der Wecker überhaupt nicht mehr ich wache 2 Stunden zu spät auf und komme jedes Mal zu spät.

It’s good

The app is pretty good, but it only works if you buy pro. I guess it works for some but I really wish either lights or walking were free because that’s the only way I wake up. I get that you need money to pay the employees, but I’m begging you just one until I can afford a subscription 😭 I’m sure you have a reason so I get that you probably can’t, but yeah, that’s basically my only complaint, it doesn’t work unless you have money for pro.

There are no ads, and we don’t sell your data. Some optional, advanced features are part of Awake Pro, but they are never required to set an alarm, mission or the morning briefing. So, in fact, you can use Awake without Awake Pro. Your subscription to Awake Pro helps us keep the app running and develop new features. We greatly appreciate your support and understanding.

Bedingt nutzbar

Wenn es eine Funktion gibt, dass alle 10 Minuten geprüft wird, ob man noch wach ist, sollte der *** Alarm dafür nicht alle 30 Sekunden auslösen, bis die App deinstalliert wurde.
Die Funktion hätte man eher mit einem zweiten Wecker lösen sollen.

Der Wecker fängt nur immer wieder an zu klingeln, wenn er entweder nicht abgestellt wird oder die gesetzte Mission nicht erfüllt wird. Weiterhin kannst du den Wake-Up-Check jederzeit wieder in deinen Einstellungen deaktivieren, dort wo du ihn ursprünglich aktiviert hattest. No pro

I do not like how all of the things I downloaded the app for are blocked because I don’t have a membership. The membership costs money so I will not do it but now I only give you 2 stars and I only get the very very basic things. Don’t get this app.

Horrible experience

Uninstalled, didn’t remove the alarm though. Continuously played the same alarm over and over with no way of stopping it. Had to redownload the app in order to shut off the alarm. Absolutely horrible

It doesn’t work on time tho!

I was so excited for this app and I love the fact that the missions actually force you to wake up before you can turn off the alarm and put the phone down.

But it keeps ringing whenever I restart my phone instead of at the scheduled time!

Privacy first

Way more private and less third party trackers than the leading mission alarmy clock app. Scanning barcode alarm feature works very well. Thank you!

I think that Awake is a very good thing because it’s also synced with Structured and I have that too, but the only problem is that I had to re-download it there was no reset option and the sound doesn’t really work like this morning. I had an alarm it didn’t go off well I mean it did. It just didn’t make any noise so I just stayed in bed.

Keine Änderung des Weckertons möglich

Eigentlich eine gute App, allerdings gibt es seit längerer Zeit ein Problem mit den Wecktönen: Der ausgewählte Ton wird immer wieder automatisch auf den Standardton zurückgesetzt. Dadurch hört man morgens ständig denselben Alarm, obwohl andere Töne eingestellt wurden. Schade, dass das auch nach mehreren Updates noch nicht behoben wurde. Deshalb aktuell leider nur 2 Sterne.

I deleted the app and the alarm keeps going off and won’t stop. The alarm is titled at the top of my screen unorderly awake.. that’s how know it’s still coming from this app.

You WILL WAKE UP and/or GET UP 😁

I’ve spend a decade with insomnia and ADHD related insomnia.
I’ve tried innumerable ways to set alarms to wake me up in the morning.
With this app, you can decide how long you want to sleep.
I do 9.5h (25 yo female, Secondary School Teacher). With this app, I actually *wake up* at the time I have to because the alarm won’t stop until you complete a task/challenge. There’s maths, puzzles, walking etc.
Absolutely recommend, if your struggle is the same as mine was.
About the price it’s £17.99/year (which is the one I chose)
Or £5.99/month. Thats the reason it’s a 4⭐️and not 5⭐️.

If you’re struggling with money, and you think this app is for you, depending on the individual’s circumstances, you could put aside a couple of pounds or pennies, until you get to that amount. 🤍
