About
AWAKHUMA is a meditation app built around one idea: silence is more powerful when it is shared.
Four times a day — at 5:45, 11:45, 17:45 and 23:45 UTC — a global session opens for eleven minutes. No guide. No music. No instructions. Just you, a timer, and the quiet knowledge that right now, thousands of people across the world are sitting in the same silence.
You can also meditate alone, anytime. Choose your duration — 3, 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes — set an intention if you wish, and sit.
No voice will tell you what to do. No score will measure your progress. No streak will make you feel guilty. AWAKHUMA offers nothing except a shared moment of presence.

COLLECTIVE SESSIONS
Every day, four windows of shared silence open to the world simultaneously. Awakening, Rising, Uniting, Radiating — each carries a different quality of stillness. Join the one that fits your rhythm.
SOLO PRACTICE
Start a session anytime. Choose your duration, set an optional intention, and begin. The app stays out of your way.
YOUR JOURNEY
Track your time in silence, your accumulated practice, and the moments you have shared with others around the world. No rankings. No comparisons.
——
AWAKHUMA is free. Not free with a subscription hidden behind a paywall. Not free for thirty days. Free. A voluntary contribution is available for those who wish to support the project — but it is never required, and it changes nothing about what you receive.
This app was built by someone who has meditated every day for more than nine years. It exists because silence, shared across distance, changes something — in you, and perhaps, slowly, in the world.
Sit down. Close your eyes. The rest will find its way.
