I’m looking through these reviews and the company definitely paid for positive reviews. All the reviews by real people have said bad things about this app would not recommend our company tried moving over but found out that this app will not work for what we needed to do.
Worst app in the world
It’s awful. Glitches that make communication so difficult it’s not worth it. At all. I hate this app and hate that my company still uses. 10/10 do NOT recommend
Doesn’t work and terrible customer service
Our team has used this app more out of necessity than by choice (for over 3 years) and it has led to incredible frustrations. The main gripe is that the cross platform functionality is extremely bad. We have had multiple users complain about the same messages and channels not appearing on different devices. When contacting customer service there is no response. Really disappointing. It’s been 3 years now having to use this sad application and there have been no improvements, which is ironic since the app asks you to update every other day. Whatever they’re “improving” it’s not making the app a better user experience. Would give 0 stars if only I could.

Unable to sign in
Every time I try to sign in, it kicks me off and says, signed out. I tried changing the password which it allowed me to do, but then when I went back to sign in again, it kicked me out. Unable to sign in no matter what.
Unresponsive customer service. Significant issues with app access.
I have been a user of AWS Wickr and Wickr Pro for over 5 years. 16 days ago my account was abruptly suspended with no explanation. And certainly no refund for the portion of the monthly fee was provided or offered. I have since now attempted to contact assistance by emailing two individual reps and making a general “help” query. I have received no reply whatsoever. This outage has happened my ability to communicate with clients and share documents. It must be nice to treat customers with such contempt…

Such shitty approach destroying really created by people for people products should be eliminated in the future and all monsters like amz ggl apple helping it should be dismissed and pay for such moral and physical damage made towards people

No longer a privacy app
The vast majority of the reviews here were imported from the former WickrMe app, which was a true privacy-focused communication tool. The newer AWS Wickr destroyed all of that and forces the user to hand over PII to use it and tracks user metadata - consumer beware! Most users I know have abandoned the platform for better alternatives.

Bulk picture issue
Great product, next update needs to allow bulk pictures to be shared in one click.
Sign in non-functional
Signing in on iPadOS is impossible. The login page just goes black and it’s not possible to enter you password. Get with the program, folks!

Ability to change email to name
The preview for WIKR pro shows Paul young and Sarah hall writing back and forth. Their names are shown. When I send messages the view to me is my email address. Everything I’ve read shows you can’t change this, but your preview says otherwise. Can I change my user name to pop up on my phone as me, not my email. Preview of PRO shows I should be able to, but everything else says otherwise and it’s super annoying. Sounds petty but this is the only chat app I have that does that. If not for being told I’ll use it for my job, I wouldn’t be using it.

Wickr pro is sooo coool

Wickr is awesome!
I love the anonymous nature of it. Gives the people a sense of privacy that you really can’t get anywhere else on the internet. Especially with big brother sticking their noses into everything. We have very few freedoms left and this is one of them.
Not opening anymore
Once I couldn’t login sometimes, now I cant’ even open it. Edit even since I updated it every time I have to login I have to delete and download again the app.
