Complete Garbage
I wish I could give it zero stars. The app rarely works the way it is intended, video playback is choppy and rarely works. When switching to full screen mode, the videos won’t play at all. With all AXON can do, you’d think they would fix this horrible app.
Bugs
Near impossible to watch your footage on the app without it freezing every 40-50 seconds. Or just not load at all and have to restart the app several times before it decides it may work. If you need to skip to the end of the video for something you have to skip about 2 minutes at a time if you do too much at the start it will once again freeze. Then you need to close out of the video and open it again several times before you have the chance to try again. Extremely frustrating when you're trying to find something specific and have to close out of the video a dozen times because it keeps freezing then won't play again until you reset it. An update with bug fixes for this would make a big difference

Terrible
Absolutely aggravating when trying to watch a video you have recorded to write a report. It constantly disconnects, lags, buffers, or just doesn't work all together. You try to skip back to the part it shut off at, nope try again. Reset the app and try to go back to the spot you were at, nope try again.

All this money these agencies are paying them every single month and they can't make an app that plays a video for longer than one minute.
Firmware is terrible on iOS
Had the axon body 3 and if you want to review your video for more then 3 minutes you won’t be able to because it will disconnect and tell you to reconnect but then it will never load and you have to force close and try to watch from it where was. Got the axon body 4 won’t even pair to my phone…. Works perfectly fine on Android but not iOS. Support doesn’t help and just tells you to update to newest firmware even though it already is or tells you to forget the camera which all has been done but won’t fix the app.

Terrible
This app is terrible. I am unable to review my videos. The videos just don’t load and the loading ring just spins.
Video playback too slow
Video playback in the field is terrible. It constantly has to reconnect to Bluetooth and WiFi and be reconfirmed. The videos never want to play. I haven’t been able to view my BWC footage in the wide screen in years.
Pairing Issue
Never can find new cameras. My third in 5 years! No clue why. Axon please stop making new ways to screw over users. A whole nation is paying you.
Always freezing and glitching video
It’s rare that you can ever watch an entire video without it freezing every 30 seconds or so and thereby forcing you to exit out and restart the video. Also, rotating camera from portrait to landscape always freezes and restarts the video. It’d be nice if this app just did what normal video players did.

labeling is fine playback is a nightmare
i been using this app since 2021 and been having trouble with playback when playing back it will not play but show the recording at the moment. i would like to see improvement of this i don’t know why this always seems to be the case i just upload to the cloud before actually watching it it also times out when watching and it plays like it’s supposed to the live view was finally fixed to be able to see what the cam is seeing.

Please try upgrading to the latest version 5.6.0 which was released in early August to address many pairing and authentication issues. Disappointed
As many other LEO’s have mentioned, this app is really buggy and lags. Not sure what the developers are doing but it’s not a great app. Please fix it, Axon.
Slowest app ever
Should be useful, but it’s so laggy as to be nearly impossible to use. What a pile.
Don’t even bother
App used to be great, now you can’t even stream a video to your phone. At best you’ll get a minute, at worst, you can’t even connect. Axon has really dropped the ball.

Does not pair with iPhone
Useless
This app crashes your phone at times and will mostly never load videos.. trying to playback a video will leave your phone waiting on a black screen… sometimes completely freezing your phone entirely. For a company with such investor support, you’d think they would address such issues . Still waiting.. (it’s been years)

The concept is nice. The actual performance makes it effectively useless. Videos buffer and crash almost exclusively. This is pathetic given the exorbitant fee Axon charges.
Terrible
This app often crashes, does not open and disconnects from the camera. It needs maintenance badly.
Great until it’s not
I have had to install and reinstall this app so many times here recently it’s crazy. Before it was only every once in a while but now I’m getting the “an unexpected error has occurred” message and it won’t even let me get to the login screen and if I get there I can’t get pass that. Please fix these issues.
