Won’t work for me across state lines
I paid the $49.99 to download this app because I have a Thor motor home which already has a decent Axxera GPS. But on a bright day there is so much glare in the motor home cockpit that it is impossible to view the GPS screen with any accuracy. So I wanted to have more or less the same GPS on my iPad where I could control the screen brightness better. But when I tried to set up a route from Arizona to Texas on this app, I kept getting a “route calculation error” along with a statement that I should be sure I have downloaded all the maps for the states I am traveling through. I tried to delete the app and re-install it - no help. The maps for Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas are all downloaded. As long as I give it instructions to take me anywhere in Arizona, it works fine, but when I try for an address in another state, up pops the “route calculation error.” There is no instruction manual, and the email address given for customer support sends the mail back to me. I’m disappointed. I plan to try to use this app for my coming six day trip to Tennessee, but I will have to use it within one state at a time.
