Yet another company resting on its laurels.
Yet another company resting on its laurels.
I have an XGPS160 and app is garbage, device shows promise but they donโt update firmware and even with massive changes going on in the world of GPS over the last few years they donโt even have updated hardware to the XGPS160 to take advantage of it. So, save your money. The GPS in your phone is way better and this is another manufacturer not keeping up with the times.
Update March, 2026:
No new product releases from this zombie company, this POS still uses a USB mini connector in 2026 and app looks like it was written in 2005 by a high school student.

Xgps150 not compatible
I had a old 150 and not able to get satellite reception on io 17
iOS26 update
After updating iPad software to iOS26, installed apps requiring gps information, ie. Jepp FD Pro, WSI, SkyPath, etc. stopped giving location while in offline mode with XGPS160 receiving excellent signal. Worked well with iOS18.
