About

Ayumi is a local-first journaling app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Write quick daily notes and save them as Markdown files you can keep under your control. Entries are organized in a simple date-based structure and are designed to work well with Obsidian-compatible workflows. Ayumi helps you capture more context around each note: Add your current location Attach current weather information Save photos, audio, PDFs, and other files alongside an entry Record audio notes and turn them into text with transcription Your journal stays file-based and easy to move, inspect, and back up.

- Select any part of an entry's text to share or copy it. - Copy a whole day's entries at once from the date header. - Preview photos and audio attached to an entry without leaving the app. Pinch to zoom photos. - Attach photos to an entry straight from your photo library. - Entries created by sharing from another app now record place and weather too. - Entries now keep a record of the model and prompt used to transcribe them. - Fixed attached audio being inaudible on iPhone. - Localized the Siri phrases into Japanese. - Refreshed the app icon, with light, dark and tinted variants. - Various small improvements and bug fixes.
