Ayumi is a local-first journaling app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Write quick daily notes and save them as Markdown files you can keep under your control. Entries are organized in a simple date-based structure and are designed to work well with Obsidian-compatible workflows.

- Added on-device transcription that needs no API key or account. Audio stays on your iPhone and transcription works offline. - Choose a transcription engine per recording: on-device, Gemini, Gemini Transcribe, Meta Muse, xAI Grok, or Groq Whisper. Cloud services are used only after you configure your own API key and consent to sending audio. - Transcribe a saved entry's audio again with a different prompt or engine. - Added a Today complication for Apple Watch showing today's writing and recordings still waiting to reach your iPhone. - Fixed offline Shortcut saves, delayed Apple Watch recording transfers, and a Dynamic Island that could remain after recording ended.
