How do I use the Apple Watch app alone?

To use the Apple Watch app independently, you'll need to subscribe to a watch plan. After subscribing, ensure your Apple Watch is connected to your iPhone and restart the B-KEY app on your watch. Once synchronized, your Apple Watch will be ready for standalone use.

Does this app require a Tesla account?

No, B-KEY is a pure Bluetooth application and does not require any Tesla account or network connection to function. All control is managed locally via Bluetooth.

What Tesla models are supported?

The app supports Model 3, Model Y, and Model S, Model X vehicles manufactured from 2021 onwards. Older models of the Model S and Model X are not supported.

Is there a cost to use the app?

The iPhone version of the app is free to use. However, standalone use on the Apple Watch requires a subscription, with various monthly, 6-month, annual, and permanent plans available, including a 7-day trial.

Can I control my car without physically touching my phone or watch?

Yes, the app supports sensorless unlocking and starting. However, for Apple Watch, the app needs to be in the foreground for the vehicle to sense the key and perform these actions. If your phone restarts, you'll need to reopen the app and reconnect to the car for this feature to take effect.
