Emulates the Professional version of the BA II Plus
This app emulates the Professional version of the BA II Plus with two minor but helpful exceptions. I have the app and the physical version of the calculator. The app is excellent. If you need help, the help key actually takes you to TI’s online manual, which is excellent. You can’t do this (obviously) with the physical calculator. The other difference is the COPY command above the IRR key. This command copies whatever is in the app display so you can paste the information into a spreadsheet, word processor, etc. The price of the app is good considering you can use the app on your iPad, iPhone, regardless of how many devices you have.

Works like the real thing
Works like the actual calculator. I have been using this as my main calculator app for more than 10 years.
Leaves a lot to desire in UI
- Please consider adding visual and haptic indicators/feedback for key press. It's hard to know if I have pressed a function key or not, unless I either go ahead with incorrect input and hence answer, or start again.
- There should be colour themes for all your BA II pro, grey one as well as the current black-red, so it's a seamless experience when I move between the app and physical calculator
- Finally, if you really want to make it better, consider adding a history feature to be able to go through the last few, say 50-100, calculations

Works like it’s supposed to
No frills, works like it’s supposed to. Used it to prep for all three levels of the CFA.
Design Looks Horrible
Go back to the previous design that replicated the physical calculator.
Inability to use the calculator

It’s the TI calculator I’m used to using, in app form. Don’t have to carry a separate calculator. It’s perfect.

Wrong calculations. It doesn’t match the answers of my professor!!! Something is wrong

Bond function
Cannot calculate dates in the middle of the year. For example, I was doing a problem and I was trying to use the bond function with the SDT as 15.1.2020 and it’s giving an error
Got a refund
Put off by the 2.5 stars, I bought this app that emulates a calculator whose base functions haven’t improved for the past 30 years. After overcoming the gall of TI’s total lack of innovation while still demanding $15 (and don’t get me started on what they charge for the physical calculators), I expected it would still at least work. But the CF function doesn’t even remember what I just put in and can’t go past CO1. Garbage company, garbage app. I’d almost rather calculate by hand.

Does not compute
This has not worked since I purchased it. Gives erroneous answers. Compared it to several others. Waste of money.

Love this app. Functionality just the same as the calculator but I can have it on any phone. I did like the old look. But still works the the same as always! Thanks!!
