The first big update since launch. Memories and milestones can do a lot more, the Memories Movie got a proper setup screen and far lighter files, and Stats now reaches all the way back. MEMORIES, A HANDFUL AT A TIME • Long-press any photo or milestone to start selecting, then take as many as you like. • Save or share the whole set at once — with captions burned in, or clean. • Turn a selection straight into a Memories Movie, sized to what you picked. • Make a milestone out of a photo you already logged, or out of any note. Nothing is moved and nothing is lost — the milestone gets its own copy. • Writing a note? Save it as a milestone in the same breath. A BETTER MEMORIES MOVIE • New "Create your movie" screen: choose the style and the order, and see the length and the file size before you export. • Set a maximum length and BabyTime draws a fresh random set of shots to fit it, so no two movies are the same. • Exports are dramatically lighter — often a tenth of the size — with nothing lost that you can see. • Chronological or random order, kept as your preference. • Photos from your library are now dated, aged and ordered by when they were actually taken, not when you added them. • Warm Film stamps your baby's age just under the timecode. STATS THAT REACH FURTHER BACK • Swipe the sleep, diaper and vitamin D cards for an all-time companion view, labelled with the exact span of dates it covers. • A new all-time Bath card: streak, this week, and the total. EVERYDAY THINGS • Step away from a running feed without ending it — "Keep timing in background" leaves the counter going and the Home card ticking. • Tap an item on the To-Do & Buy list to fix a typo, instead of deleting it and typing it again. • The camera now opens with the flash off. QUIETLY, UNDERNEATH • BabyTime saves an automatic snapshot of your data the first time each new version opens, so an update can never cost you a day. • Slideshow slides stay centered, and the photo frame no longer drifts past the edge of the screen. • The full-screen viewer shows a photo's real taken time — no more midnight timestamps on milestones. Everything still lives on your iPhone, and it's still one purchase with no subscription.
