User reviews

Love the new display format

This is a significant very helpful upgrade. Much easier to use.

Elevation data is wrong

I really like the layout of this app, but the weather points I am creating on the map are not displaying the correct altitude. They are generally a couple thousand feet lower than what I know the elevations to be. This is pretty concerning considering how big an impact this has on the weather forecast. Please fix!

Everything in 1 place!

Great app combining almost everything I need in one place. This significantly makes route planning easy

Great

I haven’t used it a time yet but it seems pretty useful. There was a bug where it wouldn’t load the avy report for my main area (mt. hood). I left a review commenting on the bug and the dev responded very quickly and pushed an update to the app with in a couple days fixing it.

Response from developer

Thanks for reporting this bug. I released an update today that fixes the Mt Hood avy forecast. Please email beta@skithebackountry.com if you have any other issues or feedback.

Pretty good

My only complaint is that I have to change the state in the settings to see Idaho (I live in Washington). Living on the border between both states, it would be nice seeing all my local snowtel sites on the map view. I bought the pro version thinking this would give me that option, but it doesn’t.
