I was hoping with recent updates that this game would stop cheating, but alas, NO! Please fix this. I love Backgammon, but this is ridiculous!!
Don't waste your money on this game.
This used to be a great game. However, a couple of updates ago that all changed. Now the game cheats. If it needs one specific roll of the dice, it will roll what it needs. If you get too far ahead, it will roll itself doubles (as many as 5 or 6 in a row) while giving you an ace/two or the only available roll that will leave you exposed (and then, next roll the game will roll what it needs to put you on the bar). I've had this game for years but no longer play it as it is simply no longer fun. 3/28/17- Update. This latest version doesn't seem to cheat like the last versions. I'll need to play more to be sure. April 11, 2017 - Still cheats. Save your money. Don't buy this game. 5/13/17 - I see the developer claims the game doesn't cheat. Uh huh. Well, the game sure is "lucky" then. Example, rolling 4 doubles in a row after all the pieces have passed each other, on a fairly consistent basis. Yup, this game sure is "lucky." As I originally said, don't waste your money.
6/8/2017 - Sadly nothing has changed. The game still cheats (or manipulates the way the dice rolls are used). I cannot recommend this game. 11/25/2019 - GAME STILL CHEATS ON ROLLS OF THE DICE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GAME. IF YOU DO, YOU’LL LOSE TWICE.
