They're right about it not usually saving unless you change your privacy settings.
But worse is the lack of and quality of pictures. Only the first few pages in each section are decent wallpapers. After that the designer is consistently adding pictures of people's arms, backs, hip bones... with tattoos (when I'm looking for a picture of flowers, butterflies, animals... I don't want to start seeing pictures of people with tattoos or a page of examples for people to pick out a tattoo), uses stolen images from digital scrapbooking packs, starts using low resolution images (even a few regular snap shots), adds unrelated pictures under categories, uses pictures that are common to a bunch of wallpaper apps, and even starts duplicating pictures in the same category. There are lots better apps like this out there. Don't waste your time.

Great! Definitely a must have!
This app is great - it's got a lot of varied backgrounds and downloads very quickly to my camera roll. I use pictures from it all the time! The categories are well named as well.
I have two suggestions for the developers that would make this app even more fantastic.
One, make it so that when we download a background, we automatically get an option to open our settings so we can change our background to the picture we just downloaded. I don't want to share my new picture, I want it as my background!
Two, please make it possible for us to move the categories to where we like. I don't want to girls names front and center, I would prefer the planes and military categories up at the top. My sister however, would love the fantasy category at the top and would never even dream of using the cars categories. Being able to move the categories would be awesome! Thanks, great app, and looking forward to the next version! :)

This is a awesome app! Please don't listen to the negative reviews, most of them are because they couldn't find the one specific thing they wanted! Don't worry there are plenty backgrounds to choose from. I have found beautiful landscapes, sunsets, and art as well as funny pics. lol
I've also heard a review about the quality not being that good. For that I think you should get CameraPro. ( If you're willing to pay 0.99 cents of course) It has clarity and a bunch of other effects to make the backgrounds even better and you are able to edit pictures from your camera roll!

I have one word for this app and it's wow!!! I've never been disappointed with this app and I highly recommend it. This app has so many pics to choose from, and it's not like most background apps where you have to search through all the pics, it is categorized and labeled and has a search bar if you are looking for a certain pic in particular. I hope this was helpful, and if you don't yet have this app on your devise then it is a must have idk how this is free. I have had the app for ever and I haven't cone close to ever deleting the app and they are always adding more pictures daily!!! Get this app :) oh and can you please put under female names Ashleigh cause nobody spells it that way :( something really girly but no strawberries thanks :)

Awesome and Frequently Updated!
I love this app because there are new photos uploaded almost everyday. Some of them are hilarious! 99% of my photos in my album are photos that I downloaded from this app. The only problem I have with this app is that there aren't any "famous" pictures in them. For example, if you type in a movie's name, like "Twilight" or something, there are no pictures of the cast or anything like that. Or if you type in a band or famous person's name, pictures of them don't appear either. I would like more pictures to be uploaded of those sorts of things. Otherwise, this app is the best background app yet!

Okay so I got this app about one month ago and I didn't quit know how it would be because I had gottin a few other background apps but they only had the exact same pictures eveyday... So after u save it then u still have it in the app and once u save them all the app is useless.... So anyways I got backgrounds is so awsome I uploades new pics. Everyday and they r of every well just about every topic... And they have catagories u can pic from say if u want some pics of some kitties or cats u just go to catagories and pick kittens/ cats or if u want something funny or flowers ... For guys and for girls... And many MANY more... then if the background is plain and like it doesn't day anything in the front u can just( like words) get a coloring game a
Such as glow coloring and import the pic and then u can right ur name on it for example....

Love it, BUT...
I love this app. I've had it since the first week I had my phone. I always enjoy checking the new updates (typically 2-3 x's a week). That being said, I've held my tongue for long enough... We need to have the bg's on numbered pages!!! I get so frustrated when I'm like 20 pages in, then I take a call/text/app crashes and have to start back from square one... Either show more bg's per screen with landscape view or create a "coverflow" type interface where we can just swipe our fingers to scroll quickly through bg's...

What is up with the 3 star and below reviews??? OMG, it's FREE people!
For an app that costs NOTHING, I find it hard to complain, and for the beautiful, cool, categorized backgrounds, I find it to be a great little app.
The background images are updated daily, and some of the backgroungs are funny, amusing, have awesome graphics (you can tell it's an apple approved app) and some comical sayings too. I'm glad I downloaded it. Today I am enjoying my red & black 'Yin and Yang' background...yesterday it was my 'Coach' logo...tomorrow, maybe Homer Simpson as the 'green' Hulk! You'll definitely find backgrounds to suit everyone's taste!

My favorite application since the iPhone came out
I've been getting apps since they were first available and fun apps come and go because they get old. But this is great because there is so much content and constant updates. The same old wallpaper gets old fast and to have the option to change it with cool stuff all the time is awsome! I love showing off my cool wallpapers I get from this app to my friends. In my opinion this app is rated up there with the best of apps such as shazam, pandora, tweetie, facebook, around me and myspace. It's a must have. The best part it's free! It's easy and fast to download the wallpapers and the site is simple to navigate. I love it!

there should be more people in cool settings (e.g. like the beach, the park, in a ball room) I always think those are cool because many websites on the computer have it, but it would be so awesome if they were on this app! this is just an opinion and not really hard to do. thanks I hope you take my advice and keep up with the new pictures and such.

Awesomeness
This is my favorite app. I spend a lot of time looking through all the cool different kinds of pics and quickly save the ones I want to be part of my collecton. I could never find wallpapers on the pc, I have to go to many different sites, but this is all I need for my phone.
The pages should definitely be numbered and accesible when necessary. Esp if we have to deal with the ads which God forbid I accidentally touch. I can't return right back to where I was. I have to tap and wait which is horribly annoying. I rather just do without the ads.
I like how every page I flip through, the pics seem to have been strategically placed on the same page because the pics look to be related in some way which almost sells them quicker.
I love this app so much I was just on it, accidentally touched the ad on the bottom while I was very far into the "populars" and became compelled to submit a review once and for all. I've seen many companies take our reviews seriously, some have even made a change due to only what one person had to suggest. So please take into high consideration removing the ads or placing numbered pages and/or option to go right back to recent page.
I believe I may even be speaking on behalf of the many owners of this app who love it as much as I do. Thank you for creating this app and making it free for everyone!!!

Stupid Ads
Do NOT let the screen shots fool you - there are huge, tacky ads at the bottom of every screen, covering up a good portion of the wallpapers so that you can't fully see them, even when you click on each individual one. The ads were what absolutely killed my love for this app. It used to be so great. The wallpapers were amazing! Now I can't use the app without getting so enraged at the stupid ads that cover the two bottom wallpapers on each screen that I have to shut it off. Not only that, but they made it so tricky - the ads are right there next to the left & right buttons so you're bound to accidentally click on the ad instead of the buttons at some point, especially if you have a case on your iPod. I used to love this app so much. Now it's deplorable. What a shame.

After trying to use the search feature and experiencing a dreadful lack of results from the suggested terms, this primate soon lost patience with the "app of 50,000 pics." Along with slight variations in wording and terms bringing up different results ("navy" bringing up 2 pics of jets that "jets" does not is an example), I also noticed some political bias: all Obama, nothing of other canidates.
I'm thinking that some copyright images may have been taken down, but what of public domain images, or non-copyrighted symbols?
The ad bar was slightly annoying too. Free is good though, but this was not that big a save: I could just google monkeys and save the images using either the screenshot way or holding a digit over an image and selecting "save image."
Fix the search suggestions or fix the pic choices.

Oh my do I love this game
This Is like the best I have wifi in my house so it is perfect I highly recomond it and you want to know some really cool games too I like this game ,snail mail, crash cart ,price is right, finger piano, super monkeyball , well I just love having Internet but this iPod or any iPod doesn't have flash player oh and get this game you will not regret it well I did once but you know I got it again I like needed it .it rocks oh my word do I love this game pretty much most of my pictures are it except the one of me and my teddy bear u love that one and that is not on backrounds well don't just stand there get this game and snail mail and crash cart and price is right and super monkeyball bye :-)

The is the best background app for the iPhone! It has thousands of backgrounds for everything you'd ever want or need to look at everyday. You can even search. It shows you the most popular and the most recent, so you don't have to browse through hundreds of lame backgrounds before finding the perfect one. All backgrounds download extremely fast, and save to your photo gallery so you can do whatever you want with (i.e. use for background, e-mail, use for contact, etc.) I would definitely recommend this app!!!

I'm impressed
At first I wasn't sure if it would be worth the download but I figured it's free so why not. I was surprised by by the variety of pics to choose from. It really has a lot of nice artwork as well as some cool designs.
I gave it four stars because the categorizing of some things isn't great and the search feature could definitley use an imprvoment to make results more applicable to what you are looking for. Also it would be nice to know how many pages there are in your category and what page your on. Also could use more car and lots more animal pics.
I'm glad I downloaded it and I even use lots of the pics for friend pics. The ads aren't even annoying.

Addictively mesmerizing photos and graphics, one-click saving to camera roll
I love browsing the "Popular" section of this app. Many of these images are iPhone screen resolution or proportion, and often come with links to its appropriate Flickr photostream. The one-click "Save" button is one of my favorites features, since it lets me save to the camera roll without leaving the app. I wish Backgrounds would remember where I left off browsing though, after leaving the app and returning, at least for a short term before the gallery changes over time.

Great app
This is a five star app for sure. For one, it's free. Great place to browse pics, designs, artwork, etc. Catagorized and everything. Saves them to your camera roll for any use you desire. The only reason this does not have a 5 star average is because people looking for nude pics or google searchers give it an unfair 1 star. If looking for a specific image, sure, go search google. If looking for naked people, go search. If not sure what you are looking for till you find it, this is a five star app with quality pics designed for quality iPhone backgrounds right at your finger tips. Great app with new updates (new pics) all the time. Great to let to let your kids browse through! Kids love a reason to use your iPhone!

Fabulous Application!
I don't know why backgrounds didn't come out sooner! I have an iPhone and the pictures are great. They work well, look good. I don't know why some say they "get old" to look at - if you don't like them, don't use them. Is it just me or have new ones been added recently? I like so many of them, I don't know which to use first.
One suggestion: the way they're categorized is nicely done, however the method of scrolling through them might be easier using page numbers instead of just flipping. If you find one you like better than another a few flips back, it's tedious to get there again. Or use smaller thumbnails so the backgrounds would be easier to look at as a group.
