Fix the search feature
Error message
Good app but every time I search for a game I get a weird error that ends up making it load forever. The error says “Could not load first game : ( Response could not be serialized, input data was nil or zero length.”
Great app for collectors!
I’ve been on this app for a few years now and it’s tremendous for tracking and smashing the horrific backlog! Haha

Best backlog tracker I’ve used
I’ve been looking for a long time for an app that I can use to keep track of games in a simple, organized way. This one is the best and also has no monthly fee.
Must have App for backlog
I love using this app to keep up with my games! The images stopped loading on some games, hope it’ll get fixed soon!

Love It! But Maybe Add These Features
I love This App! I really like that it will pick a random game for you to play!! But it would be Awesome if you could choose the option for it to pick from a collection you made!
And also it would be great if you had the option to put in a game if it doesn’t have the one you are wanting to put in!
I love this app other than not having the option to do those things. Maybe they could be added sometime!

Backlogging taken to a whole new level
I’ll get started right away. It’s great. Seeing snapshots of my games I’m playing, phenomenal. Seeing percentage, amazing. And it puts everything into categories that are easy to follow with a page that shows you overall. It’s an amazing app!
The bad - it takes up so much space! I’m currently at 3 Gb of data on my internal memory with 232 games. Why is it so disproportionately large? Is it keeping copies of all the images? I like adding my notes and that helps, but, please, help me reduce the size of the app on my phone.

All the issues i was having were fixed so yep 5 stars! Im still a little upset because there is no feature to manually add games to your personal library but ive been able to find a workaround with the playlist option for a bit. If that could be added this app would be so perfect.

Reasonable for what I want, still needs work
Not a perfect one-to-one app version of Backloggery, which I would use instead if they ever made an app themselves. As it stands however, it is a useful tool for sorting games into whatever category I please for those days when I can’t pick a game and just want to look at a few choices on a theme. In terms of making playlists and adding to the library, I have a few gripes that made it a little annoying to use that I hope to see improved:
- search bar is super specific and won’t find what you’re looking for if you’re slightly off, right down to hyphens or spaces or atypical characters like the accent in Pokémon. Could really benefit from predictive text or a more lax search function.
- the database that the app pulls game titles from is completely missing a few titles I tried to enter. Probably nothing that most gamers will notice since it’s mostly older arcade games, but might be worth a manual once-over. Would like a way to manually enter game titles or add to the database.
- would really like an option to sort playlists the way you can sort libraries
- would also really like an option to see all in your library, as opposed to individual console libraries.
- program alphabetizes in a way that counts “A”, “The,” etc. as the first word, thus putting any game that starts with “The” under T, etc., which is incorrect and makes it hard to find a lot of titles. A nitpick that I’m not sure how easy it is to fix, but there it is.

Thanks for your suggestions! Regarding the last point, you can mark games as completed under the "stats" section of your games, as well as write any notes you want. The percentage was intentionally arbitrary as it could mean different things to different people. It could be based on achievements, or beating the main game, or beating all the high scores. The search could definitely be improved and will work on that for the next version.

Awesome App
Laid out nicely. Interface is very intuitive. I added my whole game collection, made a playlist for my console games I want to play and put them in the order I want to play them, then did the same for my handhelds. I even made a playlist of games I can play with my 4 year old daughter. Awesome app! Keep it up!
Update: As of iOS 13 the app is crashing when trying to add a game to my collection. I hit the plus then type the name of the game. As it is searching it crashes. As far as I can tell everything else still works.

Buggy, limited functionality
It does a good job of cataloguing your games, but is it better than a basic spreadsheet? Marginally. The app randomly crashes when I try to add a game to now playing, and it doesn’t do anything other than catalogue.
Needs social features to be remotely useful; let me add friends and connect with others to share backlogs and progress updates!

Great App
I have tried 7 different video collection apps before sticking with this one and it’s free! The user interface is nice and clean. I like the ability to create custom lists, the ability to sort by title within the lists and platforms. Other apps add by order which not helpful when trying to quickly look to see if I already online a game. I also like the dedicated wishlist and the ability to mark a percentage of the game to track progress.
The only downfalls I have came across is the inability to search by scanning bar codes, the search seems a little finicky, and the inability to add a title if you are unable to find it in the lookup. Out of 43 titles, 4 were not found in the look up. Also it would be nice to have more information pull into the game detail such as videos, hints, reviews etc as some other apps do but none pull all items into one place. I would even pay for these upgrades.
I hope you consider these changes in the future. Thank you for the wonderful app.

Steam Link Issues
This app seems like a very good way to keep track of your games. However, every time I try to link my Steam account, it seems to enter a “loading softlock”. Please fix this issue in a future version.
Great app but needs work with Steam support
Really handy app, works great. Had a issues with connecting to my steam account as it either added incorrect titles or couldn’t add certain titles at all. Not all games show up in manually adding either.

Unusable Due To Crashes
I liked it alright & added a few playlists at first. Then the crashes started. Basically crashes if I try to do anything - completely broken down unusable.

Hello, I believe that this will be fixed in the latest version which should be released either on the 15th or 16th of September. Sorry you experienced this with the first version. It had to do with iCloud syncing of preferences in the Library and Playlists tabs.
