Indispensable for a collector
Worth the cost just for the speed and accuracy of barcode scanning when adding discs. CLZ Movies scans the entries faster than I can unstack discs when scanning UPCs.
Customizable as well, with sort filters like “Format”. Custom tags and wishlists can be created. A movie can be represented in the collection as 4K and Blu-ray and a custom format like “Plex” all at the same time, and filtered as desired.

One of the very best apps for collecting movies
I love this app. It’s so easy just to scan a barcode and add it to your collection. It totally keeps me from buying doubles. I had a problem where it logged me out and customer service was able to help me recover everything without an issue. Not bad for two dollars a month. Or $20 for the year. If you’re a movie collector, this thing is a must.

Best app, great features
I have over 2000 movies in a growing collection and this is by the far the best cataloging app out there and I’ve tried several. I’ve already cataloged hundreds of films in the last couple of weeks. The bar code reader actually works and even on a few older or obscure DVDs where I had to type in the title, I still retrieved the correct film and easily added it to the database. Not only is the film cataloged, but app pulls in data on actors, crew, and summary, from IMDB. You can search by director, actor, cinematographer, etc. The user interface is friendly and intuitive which makes using the many features and personalization options easy to use. I also love the backup-to-the-cloud feature. The folks at CLZ have the physical collectors’ idiosyncrasies in mind. And real humans will respond to your questions.

I had high hopes
Needs some serious database improvement. About 1/3 of the movies I’ve added so far have come up under different, incorrect titles and I’ve had to correct them all. Gonna use iCollect.
Physical Media Collection
Awesome app, helps me keep my VHS, Laserdisc, DVD, Blu-Ray, and 4K Blu-Ray movies in order and I have a ton of them.
