Great app, perfect functionality

Love it, especially being able to add custom tags. Would love to see the ability to upload our own cover images for movies and add custom box sets/collectors editions that aren’t in the app currently.

You can! But not directly to shelf... if you upload them to TMDB (the database we pull our movies from), it'll appear on shelf in a couple days - as well as Letterboxd, etc who all pull from the same place. Hot tip!

Fantastic app

I don’t generally like writing reviews for apps, but I’m writing this one today because I can tell that this app is cared for. It is user friendly and incredibly unproblematic. I will absolutely be donating for the betterment of this app; it’s the least I can do for being able to keep track of all of my tapes! The only thing that I would change is being able to catalog TV shows, but I don’t have that many yet so I’m not worried about it for now. Thank you for being so passionate about your creation!

Thank you so so much for your kind words! That means so much to know people are loving the app that much (I also hate writing app reviews). TV shows are pretty tricky unfortunately, but maybe in a future release... I only have a couple myself too. Best thing I've read today.

Gorgeous app for movie collection.

I love the design of this app. It’s very simple, but very functional. It would be great if scanning was added. The app also doesn’t populate collections of films like the Back to the Future: Trilogy, etc. These additions would make this a 5-star app. My fear is the app is abandoned, however, as there hasn’t been any update in a while.

Hi there! I did look into adding scanning into the app but all of the barcode scanning services are all very expensive and not able to justify it while keeping the app free to use :( I'm very glad to hear you're enjoying the app though and the aesthetics of it - that was what I was looking for myself!

this is the absolute perfect app so i can stop buying doubles of vhs tapes! i have noticed a few different things weren’t on here including tim curry’s IT and a movie of Zorro. other than that: no notes. beautiful simple app. thank you!!!

Excellent App! Exactly What I Was Looking For To Catalogue My Movies

So pleased with this simple to use, streamlined app. I was looking for a central place to catalogue all my movie titles and this is perfect.
It located all the movies I searched for, even the obscure ones.
So much easier to decide what to watch using this than the picture-less spreadsheet I was using before.
The cover art and descriptions are great for remembering the movie.
The sorting feature is really useful to organise films by release date. It would be useful to have a way to set your own default sorting method as it always reverts to alphabetical when you restart the app.
The tags are also really useful, I use them to keep track of films I haven’t watched yet. It would be useful to be able to change the name of the tag as the only choice at the moment is to create a new one if you want to change the name.
I also noticed the app crashes after I try to remove a tag from a film, when I click back to return to the main list.
After restart the tag is still there.
Other than that, everything works perfectly. I love the clean interface and zero distractions, it’s a really easy and satisfying app to use.
Big thanks to the developer for making this available, I really like it.
