Great app, perfect functionality

Love it, especially being able to add custom tags. Would love to see the ability to upload our own cover images for movies and add custom box sets/collectors editions that aren’t in the app currently.

You can! But not directly to shelf... if you upload them to TMDB (the database we pull our movies from), it'll appear on shelf in a couple days - as well as Letterboxd, etc who all pull from the same place. Hot tip!

Fantastic app

I don’t generally like writing reviews for apps, but I’m writing this one today because I can tell that this app is cared for. It is user friendly and incredibly unproblematic. I will absolutely be donating for the betterment of this app; it’s the least I can do for being able to keep track of all of my tapes! The only thing that I would change is being able to catalog TV shows, but I don’t have that many yet so I’m not worried about it for now. Thank you for being so passionate about your creation!

Gorgeous app for movie collection.

I love the design of this app. It’s very simple, but very functional. It would be great if scanning was added. The app also doesn’t populate collections of films like the Back to the Future: Trilogy, etc. These additions would make this a 5-star app. My fear is the app is abandoned, however, as there hasn’t been any update in a while.

Hi there! I did look into adding scanning into the app but all of the barcode scanning services are all very expensive and not able to justify it while keeping the app free to use :( I'm very glad to hear you're enjoying the app though and the aesthetics of it - that was what I was looking for myself!

this is the absolute perfect app so i can stop buying doubles of vhs tapes! i have noticed a few different things weren’t on here including tim curry’s IT and a movie of Zorro. other than that: no notes. beautiful simple app. thank you!!!

Most Visually Appealing App!!!

Ok! I’ve been looking for the best app for tracking my dvd collection. Every one I have tried either doesn’t have the functionality I need, Is to buggy, cost too much or is just plain ugly. BUT….. I think I found the one. This app is beautiful simple to use and has moat the features you need without the extra bloat.

I love this app and I can’t wait to see what other improvements will be made.

THE Collection App

I've tried a few of these and this is by far the best designed collection tracker I've used. My only request is to be able to track TV shows too (maybe have the TV show as one item and then when you click on that, you can choose what seasons you have). Other than that, I absolutely love this!

I love the fact that this manages everything without the need for an account. No social media nonsense or anything. Just simple and effective collection logging.

One request would be to add a VHS category. Or an “other” or custom tag option.

Great but buggy

Would be the best movie collector app out there, but missing some movies and the app is annoyingly very slow.

Lacks some movie titles but gorgeous

This is the most stunning app out there to track your movie collection right now, the only downside is that there are so many missing movies and no clear way to add them manually.

Very good app just needs ability to search one or two letter movies

Works well and easy to use however cannot find movies unless there is minimum 3 characters so movies like Up cannot be found - otherwise would be 5 stars!

Visually Appealing

A great looking way to track what movies are in your collection. It doesn't differentiate between releases, but it still looks great. I can't add The Wild Robot for some reason, but that is the first time I've encountered an issue like that.

Great but won’t look up one letter movies so can’t track movie (x) but other than that this is the best app to track my movies very well constructed and love all the details

Awesome way to keep track of my movies!

I’m really glad I found this app! I was looking for a way to organize my movie collection for a while. It’s got a straightforward interface, which is just what I needed. I’d love to have a barcode scanner or the option to add TV shows later, but those aren’t deal-breakers. If the app developers add more features in the future, that’s awesome! If not, I’m still happy with it. By the way, the creator’s tip link doesn’t seem to be working as of 11/21/24. Just a heads up!
