Keeps my history

It's cool to see a timeline of what I played last year. It's like a diary but for gaming. I forgot I even finished that one horror game back in January until I checked my list.

Fast and responsive

App opens quickly and searching doesn't lag at all. I hate slow apps but this one feels very native and snappy. Perfect for a quick update after a gaming session.

Love the wishlist

I use the wishlist feature to keep track of upcoming releases I'm hyped for. It's much better than having a messy notes app page full of random titles and dates.

Solid search feature

The database is huge. I haven't found a single obscure indie game that wasn't already in there. It makes adding my weird itch.io finds really easy and quick.

Great for RPG fans

I play a lot of long RPGs and it takes me months to finish one. This keeps my progress clear and helps me keep track of which ones I've dropped and which ones I'm still committed to.

Helps me save money

Seeing how many unfinished games I actually have makes me think twice before hitting the buy button on a new release. It's a real wake up call for my wallet lol.

Better than spreadsheets

I used to use Excel for this but it was such a hassle on mobile. This is much faster. I can add a new purchase in seconds while I'm still at the store checkout.

Good for casual players

I don't play much but when I do I forget where I left off. I use the notes section to remind myself of the controls or what I was doing last. Super handy for occasional gaming sessions.

Tracking my completion

I'm a bit of a completionist and this helps me track my platinum progress. Being able to move things from backlogged to finished feels so satisfying. Highly recommend for trophy hunters.

Finally organized my PS5

Got tired of scrolling through my digital library. Tagging games by genre here makes it way faster to decide what fits my mood for the evening. Really smooth experience so far.

Simple and effective

No annoying social media features or bloated junk. Just a solid list of my games. I like how I can sort them by platform, makes finding what to play on my Switch way easier.

Great for retro collectors

I have a massive collection of physical carts and keeping track of them was a nightmare. Now I just log them here so I don't accidentally buy the same game twice at the flea market.

Love the rating system

Been looking for a simple way to rate my library after finishing a run. The star system here is straightforward. Nice to look back and see what I actually enjoyed versus what was just hype.

Helps me stay focused

I used to jump between five different games and never finish any of them. Now I mark one as currently playing and it actually helps me commit to finishing the story before moving on to the next one.

Perfect for my backlogs

I finally have a place to dump all the games I bought during sales and forgot about. It's so easy to just search and add them to my to-play list. Interface is clean and doesn't get in the way.

Wasted Time

The concept is promising but the execution and support are abysmal. The app was already buggy when I started. After an update I lost everything in my account; all the games I saved, lists I spent hours making, and sessions I logged, gone. I emailed support and was just told to leave the app open for a few minutes and it would update. When I replied that this didn’t work, I received no response. I cannot recommend this app as there is no guarantee your data will be saved.

Where my info go?

My apologies, the app has been great so far. I meant to take down the negative review after I sent an email to the customer service. It's been excellent since I made an account. I am dissappointed that I tried to pay for the lifetime and could not, but I don't mind the yearly subscription as a close second option.

Response from developer

Hi! Thank you so much for using the app - I really appreciate it. There's a "Bug Report" option in the Settings. Could you go there? We'll look into the issue right away. I promise!

My backlog shame is now beautifully organized

I knew my backlog was bad. I didn't know it was this bad. Backloggr connected to my accounts and laid out the brutal truth in a gorgeous interface. The "Mastered" status for platinums is a perfect addition - nothing feels better than moving a game into that category. Clean design, fast performance, zero complaints.

Exactly what a gamer needs

Simple, fast, and does exactly what it promises. I love the personal notes feature - I can actually remember why I dropped a game six months ago. The 350k+ game database means I've never had to add anything manually. Great app, keep up the updates!

Thank you very much for your feedback! If you have any suggestions for improvements, please do let me know; I’ll be happy to see what can be done.

Best game tracker on the App Store

Tried at least four other apps before this one. Backloggr is the only one that actually lets me connect Steam AND PlayStation in one place without jumping through hoops. The stats are genuinely fun to look at - finally know my real completion rate (it's embarrassing but motivating). Dev seems super active with updates too. Well worth the Pro upgrade.

Thank you very much. That’s exactly why I developed Backloggr – to help gamers reduce their backlog. If you have any requests for new features, please feel free to let me know at marco@ehinger.dev.
