BACKSIES is the fast-paced backronym party game that tests your wit against the world. Every round, a random set of letters drops... your job is to turn them into the funniest, cleverest phrase you can think of in 45 seconds. One word per letter, in order. Then everyone votes. Best backronym wins the round. For example, the letters are B - T - W — you might write "Bravely Tolerates Weirdness." Or "Bitter Tastes Wonderful." The letters stay the same. The creativity is all you. GAME MODES Standard — Score 1st (3 pts), 2nd (2 pts), and 3rd-place (1 pt) votes. A Speed Bonus goes to the first player to submit who earns any votes. Speed Mode — Your vote score is multiplied by how fast you submitted. 1st gets x1.5+, 2nd x1.3+. Submit gibberish just to be first and you'll lose a point. Judge Mode — One player becomes the Judge each round — their word is final, no popular vote. The role rotates so everyone gets the chair. Lightning Mode — 15 seconds to write, 10 seconds to vote. Stack it on top of any mode for pure chaos. Face-Off Finale — Hit 30 points and the top players duel across 3 escalating rounds (4 to 5 to 6 letters, 30s each). Eliminated players become the jury — they still decide who wins.
