Baghchal: Tiger and Goats

Baghchal (also written Bagh Chal or Baagchal) is Nepal’s traditional tigers-and-goats strategy board game. Four tigers hunt while twenty goats work together to surround them. The goal depends on your side: • Tigers win by capturing five goats. • Goats win by blocking all four tigers so none can move or capture. Choose how you play: • Follow an interactive tutorial and read the game rules. • Face the computer on Easy, Medium, or Hard. • Choose goats, tigers, or a random side against the computer. • Share one device for local two-player pass-and-play. • Create or join a private online room with a six-character code. Make each game your own: • Play untimed or use five- and ten-minute clocks. • Tap or drag pieces, with legal moves highlighted. • Save a game and continue later. • Review past games move by move. • Track local game statistics. • Compare wins against the computer on the cross-platform leaderboard. • Enjoy game sounds and haptic feedback. Computer games, pass-and-play, tutorials, saved games, and replays work offline. Private online rooms and the leaderboard require an internet connection. No account sign-in is required. Choose a leaderboard name only if you want to appear under a custom name. The iOS version is ad-free.
