According to IATA Resolution 753, airlines must track baggage at key points in the baggage journey including all points of baggage handling at the airport and loading points into containers and aircraft. Traditionally expensive and complex scanning equipment is deployed throughout the airport to accomplish such a task. BagJourney Netscan offers a low-cost option for smaller and regional airports to make sure that bags are permanently tracked and airlines comply in a cost-effective way with IATA Resolution 753.
