Everybody hold on tight, because we’ve taken off like an AMB bus on Gran Via doing 150 km/h in the fast lane. Baixem 1.4 has arrived, bringing the brand-new map view. • MAP (BETA): From now on, you’re no longer limited to checking departures only from stops near you. Browse around the map, tap on stops, see what leaves from there and when, check the timetable of each service, its route on the map, and when it’s expected to reach every stop along the way. On top of that, scheduled departures are automatically updated with the latest LIVE data published by the operators whenever it’s available. (You’ll see these in green.) As far as we know, we might be the only app in Catalonia (properly) combining scheduled and live departure data from TMB Metro, TMB and AMB buses, FGC, TRAM and Rodalies. • RODALIES: Rodalies has joined the party too, so from now on you’ll also find the wonderful, one and only Rodalies scheduled departures (and real-time departures whenever available) inside the app. You’ll be able to browse these on the map just like everything else. Please be patient and forgiving with the new map view. It’s still very much taking its first baby steps. But we’ve been working on it all summer, traveling around the city to test it in real life, and we decided it was better to release an early, slightly rough version now instead of spending years trying to make it perfect. There’s still a LOT planned, as this is only the beginning. We’re incredibly excited about what’s coming next, because our goal is to become the best public transport app in Catalonia.
