Bad App

It needs lot of improvement, doesn’t work half of the time. Extremely slow and useless

App never works

App never works. Whenever I want to open the recipe book, it always crashes. When I have reported this, they just say ‘sorry it was having issues’

If I could give zero stars for this app and diet then I would…

There a number of things you should consider before paying upfront for this diet chart, aside from the awful application. I would not recommend this diet chart. It may work for those that have ample time and patience!

1. Time: this diet is sold as manageable for a busy lifestyle but I would think twice before making such statements as it is so subjective - we are all different and individual after all. If you do proceed with this diet please note, you will need time to understand the diet itself (for each session), you are only given 20 minutes at the start of your session with your mentor. The rest is self study and understanding. You will also need time to prep and plan for the meals they give you. This is not manageable and the below issues contribute to the time aspect!

2. Ingredients: you are given a questionnaire to fill in and despite me saying that although I can get the ingredients i don’t have them to hand and these would be expensive to source - I still ended up with these ingredients in my diet charts. Please don’t buy anything in bulk because each session is different so what was a key ingredient for one session will likely not be for the next session.

3. Recipes & portion size: the recipes are really badly written and leave a lot to be interpreted e.g. whether something should be weighed out dry/raw form or , cooked, whether the recipe is for one portion or multiple. Some ingredients listed aren’t even used in the recipe instructions itself. Then the portion size, it is very confusing to use bowl, katori etc. It makes no sense whatsoever. If a client has paid for a bespoke diet chart you should take the time to mention the grams and ml’s required for their diet chart. The generic recipe would then be a point of reference. This whole concept takes a long time to understand and each diet session everything is reset and you then need to spend more time understanding what is the right portion for the diet session you are in. Not manageable for a busy lifestyle.

4. Application: this is poorly built, very prone to bugs and issues. I found it to be an awful UI. I would get notified for irrelevant offers having only started. I would also get notified of fasting times which were not aligned to my time zone! You are continually required to update the app, on finishing a session and other times which shows there are continuous updates being made but nothing to actually make it useable and less frustrating. The support “team” said they would investigate an issue I reported and never got back to me.

5. Diet charts: the way these are written is also truly frustrating… using the symbols + / to substitute for the words “plus” and “or” shows how little care and attention is taken in producing these charts. Balance nutrition - If your whole product is the diet chart and success presumably comes from how well this is understood and followed - why not produce a quality and super easy to follow diet chart?? This is not what you currently have!!!

6. Personal touch: this diet chart, program, whatever you want to call it, it is sold as “bespoke” yet it completely misses the personal touch. It does not take into account the individual, their lifestyle and the mental health aspects of nutrition, particularly as any changes to a lifestyle are stressful. You can discuss this with your mentor but it is not met with the response you expect…the questions you fill in at the beginning need to be more specific and relevant to a person and their lifestyle e.g. who cooks in your household, how much time do you have to cook in your week, how much budget do you have, how much time do you have outside of work etc…this would then inform those creating the diet charts of how quick and easy a diet chart needs to be

Full of bugs and issues

The new updates to the application is making it very difficult to scroll through menus and certain normal functions are not working. For instance the enter/return on the message text is not working. I am running the latest version of the app on iOS 14.0.1
There are a lot of bugs and issues.
