Needs controller support

Buttons too smol, pretty please.

Horrible game play

Controls are not clear. The tutorial was frustrating enough to delete the game.

Broken mechanics- not in a good way

2nd half of story (Cloakwoods) wont open due to storyline logic breakdown. Unable to finish story. Unable to carry characters forward to next game. Last developer update 7 yrs ago.

Экспорт сохранений с ПК

Добрый день! Большое спасибо за возможность экспорта сохранений с iOS на ПК, а можно ли в обратном порядке? Если ли возможность перенести файл сохранения с ПК (игра куплена в Steam) на iPad?

Response from developer

Добрый день! Теперь это возможно! https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/90724/2-7-baldurs-gate-icewind-dale-ees-update-new-languages-improved-cloud-support-mobile-modding#latest

Lots of glitches

Great game but lots of player glitches with spells disabled for example. Removed all dress and reset, rested and rejoined and still all disabled. Sad for a game I loved on pc. iPad interface also doesn’t allow selection of a lot of in-game items. So much potential.

Stuck in tutorial

Would love to play the game in the tutorial and learn how to play it, but all of my characters are stuck in the tutorial and can’t make the move

Tiny on phone

The resolution is too small on a phone. On an iPad it is ok.

Patch it

It baffles me how this game being re released everywhere is the worst on iPad. It is not full screen on modern devices, it has performance problems at random. The character movement was re-done on switch and ps4, but here they still move ugly.

Just make it full screen.

No backbone one support

Bought this thinking it had controller support. It doesn’t.

text too small

I tried the text scale up and that made some text bigger. Unfortunately the text in the buttons stayed small! The game is unplayable on my iPhone 😢

Not bad, here’s a hack to help!

Game is exactly as the old one, really. But the controls and the icons are so small! Well, there’s a workaround: go to setting, accessibility, and zoom. Turn it on, turn on follow focus, and zoom controller.

Tap the directional pad when you want to bring up the options, and change to window zoom when playing the game. You get a little window that you can control the size, location, and magnification of. Put this over your pause button when not using it. When you need it, change the size and zoom accordingly and move it around the screen for those hard to click icons, the inventory menus, or to interact with the environment. This thing is the only way I can play this game, and it’s proven worth it, even if it is a bit of a hassle until you get used to it.

Cannot restore purchased content

Purchased this game and all additional content. After purchasing a new device, there is no way to restore the purchased content - you must pay for it twice. Pass on this one.

Does not support game controllers.

I’m interested in learning how to play these games, but the app doesn’t support controllers. A waste, as touching the screen is too awkward for me.

Takes me back to high school

Wow, I remember getting the original bauldurs gate on pc with 8 cd roms to run(bg1 seems so small now!) Now the thing fits on my iPad. Admittedly the touchscreen is a compromise, but once I got the hang of it, I was off. There is a tremendous wiki for the games and still boasts an active community at the time of this writing. I really wanted planescape to be a better game (how do you wind up with a linear adventure on the great ring?) but that’s no fault of the folks who ported this stuff. I’ve had immense enjoyment from this entire bundle, with a replay I’m doing for the third time now. Taking characters from the core 3 games is very easy and extremely satisfying to the power player who understands the game mechanics. Thanks for the blast from the past from the superior in every way, ADnD 2e. (Sorry you 5e wimps, this is challenging on even core rules, and spoon feeds nothing to you. Also there are no half dragon/tiefling/goliath bard-paladin-sorcerer-artificer-there’s play tested balance for a reason.)

Barely playable

Hasn’t been update by the developers in years and scales extremely poorly on modern phone screens making the text incredibly difficult to read.

Muito bom

O jogo é muito bom, porém o black pits está bugado, a função de zoom para de funcionar e o jogo fecha durante as batalhas.
