Do not buy

When I try to make the screen bigger so I can see, it won’t let me. It is also very glitchy and annoying because half the time the clips are just videos of breaks and warm ups.

Stat sync problems

It’s generally pretty good. But we often run into a problem where the mobile app doesn’t sync correctly, so even though stats are correctly shown on the website, they are mismatched in the mobile app, leading to the kids not being able to easily see their highlights.

Good but some bugs

Free throws don’t add 1 point to the total score

GLITCHY

For no apparent reason this app decides to not work. It will stay stuck on “setting up camera” or if I have 25gb storage available it will say I need atleast 9gb and WONT let me work around it and just live stream but other times it does. Then when the feed doesn’t work it changed the name of my previously recorded team opponent to the new one. Then I uploaded 2 videos and they disappeared completely. This App has a TON of bugs.

Not working

It wont let me log in. Keeps saying log in failed try again later.

Multiple device integration unstable, lots of bugs and issues

This app has so much potential but falls short when used across multiple devices. When recording on 1 device and using another for score and marking moments, the time doesn’t synch up and the moments marked aren’t of the plays you’re seeing in real time. When streaming, if the connection is poor the recording will be of the stream and any moments marked have the same poor stream quality even after the video was uploaded to HD. The moments don’t clear up and you have to go back through and re-clip the moments as if I was using my phone without the app. I just used the Baller cam in a 3 day tournament under various different conditions, like one phone recording and another scoring/marking moments, one phone recording and my Apple Watch scoring/recording, good WiFi and bad WiFi. The Apple Watch could score one set and wouldn’t zero out the scores for the next set. After a long tournament the only option that kinda worked was: record only, no streaming and not scoring from my Apple Watch. Also the ability to pause the live stream AND recording would be helpful to save space and only catch the gameplay. It takes a while to initialize so if I could start the live stream and recording then pause it during warm ups, set changes and time outs that’d be nice. I really like the idea of this app and all that it claims it can do but I think they’re a ways away from delivering the functionality advertised.

I’d love for the developer to address these issues and I’ll be happy to change my review.

Side note, it would be nice to be able to block toxic fans.

Really great with one key miss

The app and BallerCam in general are great. But there is one key missing feature: we need a box score for each game that shows the overall stats by player and the team sum ASAP *in the app*. Not on a desktop.

A few other minor improvements, but less critical:
Ability to group games in to tournaments or seasons for overall stats.
A player summation that gives all games totaled together, ideally with the ability to group games by tournament or season.

It works!

Simply put. It does what it says. Customer service is fantastic and they are constantly looking to improve

Good option for recording basketball

I really like this camera. The camera doesn’t move during the game, and the post processing really does a good job of following the ball and tracking the action. I’ve filmed 8-10 games and can’t remember a single time that the ball wasn’t tracked well during game play.

I did have a little trouble with some glitches in the previous app version regarding uploading videos, but customer support was very responsive and ultimately all of those issues were resolved. I recommend this camera and app.

Love this system

As a coach, this app and video recording has been a game changer;) Being able to show our kids what we are seeing is so helpful. Ball tracking does very well and I love the smart feature that allows me to view angles from my desktop and clip teaching moments for my team. And my parents all enjoy having access to each of their kids games. I don’t leave home without it.

Bad bugs

Extremely bad bugs. Can’t use links at all, pages load and never come up, then app crashes.

Good concept. Too many bugs

It’s a good concept. I like the features. But it’s buggy. For instance recording live you need full bars reception. If not it will be horrible quality. Not just on live. But also playback. Takes up space on your phone. Too much space. For a full youth game it’s around 8gb. To free up space you have to upload the video. Forget about it. It takes an hour sometimes 2 to upload. Uploading to HD isn’t actually HD. And haven’t noticed much of a difference. I feel like the quality of the app and recording could be better. I may just try to get my money back. And all this was done on the 80 inch tripod. If you try to put the camera up higher it won’t pan with the ball. So the 15 foot tripod I don’t believe would pan with the ball at all.

Very easy user friendly

BallerCam works great for basketball. I can say this is the best Ai program and cam for the money. Only downsides I see is
One-we need a better iPad layout for someone who is tracking score. It’s stuck on a small screen and you can’t change the score for both teams.
Two- we need flag football functionality. That’s a must. If they don’t get on top of that. Maybe with football also, then they will get left behind by the xbot falcon.

Better than Veo/Hudl /Trace/xBotGo and NO monthly fees! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I was looking for an affordable way to film games without being locked into a massive annual contract. BallerCam does everything the high-end cameras do (AI tracking, highlights, livestreaming) for a fraction of the price. The best part is there are no monthly fees for me or my family—they don’t even need to download the app to watch the stream! It’s a game-changer for youth sports parents.

Best Consumer App Ever

Awesome app, the AI works incredibly well . Well done to BellerTV for such an awesome product!

No Going Back Now…

I got to try an early version of BallerCam for my son’s Spring season. It’s hands down the easiest and most affordable way to bring live-streaming to your team (I’ve tried other solutions). Once you introduce, there is no going back!
Grandparents anywhere can tune in with just a shared link. It’s the simple. No login required! And for the parents who can’t make every game, you become a hero just by hitting “start.”
Plus, you can revisit the footage to create and share highlights or help your child learn.
There’s life before BallerCam… and then there’s life after. Total game-changer.

Nothing like it

This is the sports camera tech I’ve been waiting for! Easy setup, intuitive app, great quality, and seamless player tracking. I’ve been using similar technology for a long time to film my son’s soccer games and nothing comes close at this price. Highly recommend to all my fellow soccer streaming parents out there!

Game changing app for streaming

BallerCam has completely transformed how I capture and share my children’s games. No bulky equipment, just my iPhone and everything that fits in this slick sling bag. the AI driven auto-pan does all the work for me, so I can actually enjoy my kids’ game after setting it up. Everyone can tune in and share the experience. To top it all off, it’s the most affordable sports-streaming solution! I won’t be running out of highlights to show off anytime soon.

Great Recording - Clip Creating Flaw.

I recently purchased this Camera setup and love the recording and streaming. The flaw that I do see and I thought it was just me going crazy, is that the apps tends to show you one portion of the video when creating clips for highlights. Even when you edit the clip down to what you want, the saved clip playbacks another part of the game. This is going to add to my workload, I will have to download the video to grab the clips need using a video editing software.

The other thing is viewing the games from a PC desktop is impossible, I just get a constant loading screen, I can see the stats, team information and everything, but no video playback.

Hopefully these things are addressed soon as this is a great recording/streaming system.
