Slow developed „DAW“ Beatbox

The BAM started with some nice
Functions and a concept that was a little bit like Korg Gadget with AU3.

Many nice and easy to handle things.
But i hoped that they optimized some things like note grid editing and import/export
Of audio and midi. I will this year test the Apple Pencil with it on my „new iPad 10“.

Better audiotrack functionality and
Audio sfx per au3 and improvments in the gui.

But now its seems they optimize some little steps.

The hope is a alternativ gadget host.

And i test it on macos Tahoe and new iOS.

We are working in BAM. We have been very busy in the last year but a round of regular updates is coming. Next version should come just right next week.

My go to groove box

This thing really has everything you need to make full songs. I find the workflow to be the best on iPad for me to make tracks. It’s just a joy to work with and it runs really well. The expansion packs I have tried have been really good, but you don’t need them to access all the parts of this, which most other devs don’t do. Usually you gotta keep buying in app to access everything, but here you only spend more if you want samples and presets. The main app gives you access to everything for one purchase price.

Frequent hanging of the app

Purchased it yesterday, it was working for a while but later it started hanging frequently. Also I picked 2 extension packs Velvet vibes and Ladera Nights. LN90s appears does not have a default scene to play. Velvet vibes starts to hang as soon as it is played. Can you please help fix this?

Wie Ableton fürs iPad

Lange habe ich nach einer App mit Scene Launcher gesucht, die Audio-Midi Clips kann, LFOs hat und Auv3 einbinden kann. MIDI Roll und Automation sind super komfortabel und gerade für Live Sets gut. Eigentlich gute UI könnte noch einen Ticken etwas auf Touch zugeschnitten sein, aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Bitte immer weiter updaten und weiterentwickeln. Jetzt schon meine Lieblings Groovebox DAW auf dem iPad.

Really Nice Workflow

BAM, eine tolle innovative Groovebox mit enormen Potenzial. Bitte bitte mehr integrierte Effekt&Plugins,
um zu Modellieren.
Und ein „Pause“ Button um die Plugins auch schnell vorübergehend deaktivieren zu können.

Da BAM auch zufällige Melodien und Chorus Lines kreieren kann, wünschte ich mir, es gebe hier noch eine CC Randomizer Funktion.
Außerdem wäre es toll wenn im KBD Modus es einen Keyboard Modus geben würde, bei der man 1 oder 2 digitale Keybords übereinander aufrufen könnte.
Ein Großer Move wäre wenn BAM auch mit IAA Anwendungen umgehen könnte.

Super nice

All in all, a really good tool. Intuitive, fast and reasonably resource-friendly. Now comes the but, you can't give any scales! Please give us some scales. I would also. I would also be very happy about a few little helpers in the way of a chord+melody generator and more random functions.

idk if its a glitch or what but the app has sent me countless SALE SALE SALE notifications for the current SALE for days straight. Chill out haha

Absolutely stunning beat box

I love the sound of this thing. It can do subtle organic techno, crazy drum and bass, or downbeat lo-fi. Love it. Watch the tutorials if you’re new. Lots of them and great.

Excellent groovebox

I love this groovebox. It’s simple to pick up but has a lot of depth as well. I’ve created organic tech, lo-fi, and other super original stuff I can’t seem to create anywhere else. Definitely check this one out.

I havent read the manual yet and I was able to do everything I wanted with little fuss or head scratching which is usually the case with a new DAW.

Ill have to read the manual for more advanced features like adding automation and sidechains but so far very happy.

Near Perfect

Amazing app with exceptional sound quality, particularly with the built in oscillators which have a warm, analog character to them. The sound quality is the main reason why I now prefer this app to Drambo, despite Drambo being deeper in terms of building and modulation etc.

Just a few suggestions that would take it to the next level -

1. Ability to group tracks, e.g., send all drums to a drum bus and process accordingly.

2. Parameter locks.

Currently when you lock a parameter to a step it just gets added to the automation section, and when the sequencer proceeds to the next step, the value will change to whatever value is in the automation lane even if it is not an active step.

The ability to lock the parameter so that it stays the same value until the next active step would be very useful, particularly for the drum oscillators as they are very suited for experimental music styles in my opinion.

3. A dedicated FM synth would be great! The FM abilities of the oscillator synth sound really good but are limited. (This is just a preference as I LOVE FM)

Despite these suggestions, it is an amazing and very capable production environment.

One of the best makes of the best grooveboxes

Imaginando is no new name to iOS and this epic groovebox is a must have for iOS music producers. I admit I love grooveboxes, but this one is special and powerful. It also really allows for so much on top of hosting auv3 and fx plugins. You don’t really have to leave BAM, but if you want to add in other plugins you can. Awesome job!

Sample folder issue

I am having an issue on iPhone version when I try to scroll thru my folders and touch the screen folders automatically open instead of being able to scroll to a folder. For instance when I try to swipe up to my snare folder as soon as I touch the screen whatever folder I fit opens up.
