I have been searching for a simple but functional account balance app and here it is. Multiple accounts, easy data entry, not over crowded with useless features. Thank you !
Great app
I had an app called Balance, loved it, updated my phone and no longer can use it. I searched high and low and cannot find one similar to what I had. This app is the best thing since sliced bread. Absolutely love it.
Cheap Purchase Price, It’s Flaws Can Cost $100’s When You Overdaft
Trying to get organized and avoid overdraft fees and this app looked good with all of the features... unfortunately there is too much goin in that it becomes a hinderance. Should you be in a busy shopping line at checkout and distracted while entering in your ledger you may forget you forgot to select “save” any one of the three times you have to select that option during a standard ledger entry. One would think that selecting “back” would equate to saving as in other apps I’ve tried, but not here. It doesn’t even so much as warm you your about to back out without saving your changes and carries in business as usual. Next thing you know your ledger is off and you have 2-3 overdrafts since you last crosschecked. Overdrafts are certainly users liability in most cases, but that’s what I am trying to fix with this app and it just misses the mark.
Simplify the entry process and don’t make so many steps for user to get distracted. I would MUCH rather have a duplicate entry saved during the exit process than I would have an item missing and no notification there was a user error. THIS APP OFTEN GETS USED ON THE GLY AND DISTRACTIONS CAN BE COSTLY.
Please redesign so user does not have to condition an inefficient workflow into their routines and it’d help greatly. I’m willing to give it another chance and revised review if the “save” issue is addressed.

Still haven’t found anything similar to my favorite android app
I’m in need of an app that allows me to see all of my accounts (on one screen would be best), allows me to reconcile each transaction, lets me transfer between accounts easily and has the ability to import/export. Apparently that doesn’t exist in the App Store yet. Checkbook Plus for android did this perfectly, unfortunately he has yet to submit a version to Apple. It was free, kept all info on the device, allowed for importing and exporting, EVERYTHING was editable and for each account you could see the “current” balance and “cleared” balance. This has helped me stay on budget since I started using it. Since my recent conversion to Apple however, I can’t find anything similar that doesn’t require some type of subscription and has extra features that I’m not looking for. This one comes close, but is still lacking a few features. Perhaps updates will come in the future. Why is it so hard to find a simple app on Apple?

Bad update
Unable to change dollar amount after newest update. Now the app is useless!!!

Great Simple Ledger App
I too used to use the app Balance, and I'm sure there's always room for improvement with any app, but this app works great as is, and is just what I was looking for, simple, accurate, and best of all stable!

Easiest way I have found to record my debit and credit card transactions as they happen.

Simple and Effective
I use this app more than any other to always have a current balance readily available. This app has saved me money. I have no complaints. 5 stars!
Im I missing something?
I have had this app for over a year now. And still to this day my wife and I can't reconcile our accounts. I can get it to connect but it won't add info between phones. Someone make a YouTube video how it works. I tried reaching out to the apps tech support, but of course no response.
Does the job with minor flaws
This is a good app, could be better, such as the number of the checks and whom the check is for should be separate entries instead of having to number and who the payee is in the same entry box.

Almost perfect
I used to use Balance, which I guess went under. The only thing it had that this doesn't was the ability to easy mark transactions as "cleared" and then hide them, so it was easy to see pending items. That would be a great addition for future upgrades.
