I have been banking with BOH of decades and when the first App came out it was okay but sometimes hard to navigate. The new App is so much easier to work with and it doesn’t lock me out all the time. Thanks BOH I’m enjoying the experience.

The worst mobile app
I hate this app! I have to shut my damn phone on and then I can use this! It’s been one year now that I made a complaint and no call back no help from Bank of Hawaii! The only thing that works for Bank of Hawaii is there Security Team that protects the consumers from fraud! Everything else sucks! I’m only with this bank because of their Awesome Security Team!

Terrible bank
Absolutely awful customer service. Bank of Hawaii is a joke. They placed an extended 10-day hold on my legitimate payroll check for no valid reason, leaving me with a negative balance. To make it worse, they charged me overdraft fees the very next morning! They literally do not care if you have no money for food, rent, or taxes. Even when you tell them a CFPB complaint has been filed, they just shrug and tell you to deal with it. They steal your peace of mind and your time. Do yourself a favor and take your money elsewhere

Face ID function always disappears
App works fine but logging in with face ID is always annoying. Sometimes face ID icon disappears from the login page and can not be used.

Login issues
About once a month this app starts having login issues for me. It gives me a biometric error message and tells me to login with my password. When I try logging in with my password as instructed, it will not take the password to open the app. After a day or two, it will start working again. Also, I would like if this app would do an automatic picture of the front and back of a check when you hover the phone above it, as other banking apps do. I wish this app was more reliable and consistent.

This thing is never accurate and it says I have money and it never updated so I have nothing but it says I still have a ton of money left and after weeks of not updating it finally does and it shown I get overdrafted like ceazy
