Ok but customer service poor
Calling for help, through the app, with security already passed sounds great but in practice it just leads to an unnecessarily long call that is annoyingly faceless and doesn’t leave you feeling like a valued customer
Still can't save and use a payment card
For around 6 months now I've not been able to pay using a saved debit card. Worked fine for years and then something broke :-(

Payment cards
Annoying that every time you want to pay your bill you have to enter your payment card details, with no option like before to be able to save your card details to make it quicker when paying.
Rubbish and slow
So bad now. So slow, glitchy and really stressful to use
Sub standard app
I have now tried for the last couple of days to try and register with the app even after going through Barclaycard assistance and them saying yes I was registered it still sends me back through the same process of rounds of questions that I have repeated several times it’s a wonder that anyone uses this awful app

Used to work great now poor
Used to be great but now doesn’t save debit cards, statements don’t load. It’s gone backwards. Really inconvenient for an app

The live chat never works. Always saying it’s having work done to it
Awful, going to leave
So they changed the payment system so it would load safari, and would never work.. so I had to pay by phone. Then they put in another system that did work. Now it’s reverted back to the awful safari loading page after payment, which still doesn’t work. So it looks like I’m going to leave Barclaycard’s as I’m not dealing with this!

App not working
I can't activate my new card as the app only allows you to use it if you have a barclays account, which must mean it's broken, as web info says I should just be able to use it.

Just started using this app and twice now when I have to verify payments via the app I get no notification so have to revert to text messages and code.

QR Code
Absolutely useless. Trying to install app on new iPad, tells you to generate QR code on existing app but keep getting error code and to try again later. Now been trying for 5 weeks
Why can’t you save card details
Any other banking app would late you save card details … for sometime now it has been impossible to save card details, so when I have to pay my bill … every time I have to re input my card details…. Shockingly bad interface
Was buggy then improved then buggy
Was improved then they went backwards removing all records of previous payment methods and now the app no longer retains previous payment methods making you enter complete details every single time. If for some inextricable reason they have done this for security then at least give the option to pick a card for your Apple wallet? Also twice now WITHOUT my consent they have made me paperless the most recent was under the guise of “we need you to confirm your email address”??? Unbelievable nearly as unbelievable as the number of 5* reviews all complaining but giving 5*?? Makes me think that those reviews may be false.

Misdirected Connection
This app keeps directing me to my Barclaycard statement on my Barclays Bank account, so I am unable to access the extra options on the Barclays app….
Push notifications don’t work
iOS app is very buggy. Weird screen loads. Sometimes menus disappear. Push notifications refuse to work, even though fully enabled in iOS settings and the Barclaycard app itself
