Doesn’t help! Very Confusing
Very Confusing and waisting of time . Better use the physical PINsentry Card Reader than waisting your time with this App
Rubbish
Now very relieved that I’ve never banked with Barclays
Useless
As stated by every review on here - this app does not work. Barclay’s documentation says to use this app to verify myself but when I use it the first thing it wants is a QR code which I do not have.
Don’t waste your time with this app
Barclays how about getting your web page and content developers to along with your app developers. That way you won’t be wasting my time following instruction that don’t work. What your web pages says to do to verify versus what your app presents are not aligned. Fix it
Just as Useless as the bank itself
Barclays told me to use this app to verify my details.
Didn’t work, so you may as well ring them up instead. It won’t get you anywhere, as Barclays are utterly useless, but I may have saved you the effort of downloading a useless app.

App interface doesn’t match Barclays website information
App interface doesn’t give you the option to select ‘I’m new to Barclays’ which is what the Barclays website shows. Believe it or not, not everyone banks with Barclays nor wants to, trying to sort Power of Attorney and confirms why I wouldn’t choose Barclays. Seems impossible to do without going into a branch. Terrible user experience Barclays

App does not work
Trying to verify who I am so that I can register power of attorney for my Mother. Another bank allowed me to sort this on line with the easily obtained individual access code and did not need me to verify. This app does not take me past the passcode - error 917.
John Hasselgren
As a Trustee of a Scout Group attempting to open an account I need to verify my existence. Start to use this app, enter the correct pass numbers, and am then asked to photograph the QR Code. Which QRCode? Where is it?
Unable to progress.
Unable to progress.
So disappointing
Coukd not use it to verify, despite being told to use the app. Barclays are so disappointing, in every way.
Absolutely rubbish
I gave it 1 star only because I couldn’t give anything less. The app requires a passcode every time you open it, even after it sends you an access code by sms you have to first re-enter your passcode.
Once you take the video as requested you cannot upload it, “connection lost” when your connection is working perfectly well.
A total waste of time.
Would never choose to bank with Barclays…

Disappointed in Customer Care
I have been a loyal customer of Barclays for over seven years, faithfully making all my payments and maintaining a good credit history. However, my recent experience has left me extremely disappointed and frustrated with their lack of consideration for their customers' well-being.
After diligently reducing my debt to under $1000, I was shocked to discover that my credit card limit, which was previously set at $11,000, had been drastically reduced to almost the same amount. This sudden reduction felt like a blow, considering the progress I had made in managing my debt responsibly.
It is disheartening to see that Barclays prioritizes their bottom line above all else, without considering the loyalty and responsible financial behavior demonstrated by long-standing customers like myself. It seems that they are more interested in maximizing their own profits rather than genuinely supporting their customers' financial well-being.
While I understand that banks must assess risk and make adjustments accordingly, this drastic reduction without any clear explanation or consideration for my payment history feels unfair and arbitrary. It is disappointing to witness a bank that claims to value its customers neglect their commitment to providing fair treatment and support.
I hope that by sharing my experience, potential customers can be more aware of the practices employed by Barclays. I encourage individuals seeking a bank that truly prioritizes their customers' financial health and well-being to explore other alternatives that align more closely with these values.

Barclays documentation incorrect
Despite explicitly saying this is the app to use in the Barclays documents, in fact it isn’t - you can only use this once you already have registered.
