No one to talk to once you spend your money

There is no help function… If you are planning on producing bar codes for clothing do not use this app. Waste of money. Not been thought about at all. Wouldnt take much to change but as I can’t give feedback or speak to anyone im reduced to talking to them on here. There is not a function to bulk email the bar codes so you have to send each bar code one by one. Frustrating. You can’t edit the lay out and get rid of their advertising line ‘shared by bar code generator app’ (which is already in the subject line) until you are on your e Mail app. This means that you have to keep making the same changes as they are not saved on the app. Also they haven’t thought about the positioning of the info on the bar code. We need to print it and use it so please spare a thought about that. The app is actually useless for labelling clothing if you are selling collections. Very disappointed

Scan codes

It generates a code but doesn’t list the numbers under the scan code like traditional UPC codes. Also can’t multiple select to email. Wouldn’t recommend as can’t get ahold of anyone for support

Nice and Useless

A very clean interface. Couldn’t be easier to use. Barcodes you create don’t save “inside” the app. You save them to your photos on your phone, or to Dropbox etc.

So why a 2-star review?
App costs 2 bucks. So, 2 stars.
ALL THIS APP DOES IS CREATE A .jpg

Can you PRINT? Ahhh, NO. Not in any useful manner. (Yes the description does say you can print but only like I describe below).
No print option within the app. When you hit SAVE the option to print is there along with email, text, post to Facebook, etc. If you hit Print, you will get an
8.5x11 sized barcode.

Now, of course you could open your choice of image editor app (pick your flavor) and then go thru the steps to edit an image down to something that would print in, say, 1”x 2 5/8” which is a common size for address labels, price stickers, etc. And then you would save that image and try to figure out how to actually print it on your page of labels where you want. Or, if you want a whole sheet of barcodes (exactly alike) to print on Avery (or similar) label paper, well, the difficulty far outweighs the result. I’d really say it’s not possible.

SUMMARY
-The app DOES generate a barcode/QR etc.
-The app DOES NOT provide an option to PRINT
your creation in any reasonable manner.
-The app DOES cost $1.99
-The app DOES NOT produce anything useful in a practical sense.

Thank you for such an extensive review. According to a survey we had last year among our customers, we discovered that they already have their printing templates in Pages or Numbers and not necessarily need a printing feature. The common usage was copying the image from our app paste it into the template and print directly from the iPad or iPhone. I hope that will help you anyhow with the print.

Crashes in iOS12

Used to work until last update. Crashes immediately after launching. iPhone 6plus on iOS 12.

No text generates on codes.

Can fund no option for text (should be OCR font) for ISBN or other type codes. Even other free code generating apps will gen codes with text equivalent. This is actually a requirement for 3 of 9 (39) and some other code standards.

Hi, Please send us some codes you want to generate and which doesn’t work. Also, be aware that you cannot generate barcode for some random numbers or texts, as there are certain restrictions for the number formats. In example 075678164125 it is a valid UPC-A code, but not valid for EAN-13. As well as 0075678164125 is a valid EAN-13 code but invalid UPC code. The application it is fully tested and used without any problems by many companies in their real life workflow. Waiting for your answer so we can help you.

Hi, Can you please let us know more information ? Did it suddenly close ? Can you see the main screen ? Did it close when generate a barcode ? Also, please be aware that some barcodes must respect a certain format. In example you cannot just enter a random number and expect do generate an isbn barcode. Waiting for your response, Thanks

Can’t save generated codes.

For codes I type in manually I can’t find a way to save them to library.

Edit: There is a way to save codes to library. If you save image under ‘share’ then it’s saved to the library.

Now I wish I could rename the barcodes so I can find them again later. I can’t figure out how to rename them so all their names are just the numbers used to generate the code.

Unfortunately there is no option to edit a saved barcode. For the moment the only option it is to swipe for delete. We will consider to add a name field in our next release, programmed for the first week of March. Hi, Thank you for getting in touch. For the barcode to be saved in library it is necessary to pick an action after the Share button it is tapped. In example you ca pick Save image or Copy. After doing that you will see the generated code in your library. Please let me know if that helps. Also any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Have a great day!
